Top Contenders

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are +500 favorites to win the Super Bowl again next season and that should come as no surprise, no matter what happens in Super Bowl 52. The Pittsburgh Steelers are the No. 2 pick on the board at +1000, although they got man-handled by the Jacksonville Jaguars twice this season, including in their AFC divisional round showdown. Thanks to their powerful defense, the Minnesota Vikings are expected to contend again in 2018 as a +1200 pick. I have no idea why the Green Bay Packers are a +1200 pick, seeing as how they’ve got several holes to fill to give Aaron Rodgers the help he needs to really contend next season. Rounding out the top five favorites are the Philadelphia Eagles at +1200 and rightfully so, seeing as how they have one of the best young quarterbacks in the league now in Carson Wentz and a bunch of young talent on both sides of the ball.

Good Value

Jacksonville is offering a lot of value as a +1800 pick after reaching the AFC Championship this past season. The Los Angeles Rams are also offering some excellent value as a +200 pick for a team that is clearly on the upswing. The Houston Texans are pretty high up on the board at +2000 and that’s all fine and well, seeing as how they have a legitimate star in the making in quarterback Deshaun Watson, but Houston has a lot of needs at other spots, so I don’t think they’re offering the best value. According to the NFL Betting Odds for Super Bowl 53, the Texans are offering a pretty good value. I have no idea why Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints aren’t higher up on the board after the season they just unfurled, but they’re a great pick at +2000. Below are the Super Bowl 53 odds for every team in the league.
