San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo Props

Total Passing Yards – 239 ½

Garoppolo can throw the pigskin. He tossed it for 424 yards versus Arizona on Nov. 17. But Jimmy didn’t throw for 150 yards in either SF playoff game. Heck, he only tossed 77 yards against the Packers. But SF must keep pace in this game. Go over.

QB Prop Pick: Over

Total Passing Attempts – 29 ½

Although he only threw for 131 yards against Minnesota in the Divisional Playoffs, Garoppolo threw 19 passes. No way Kansas City doesn’t put an eighth man in the box. Garoppolo should have over 30 pass attempts in this game.

QB Prop Pick: Over

Total Pass Completions – 19 ½

Tough prop. Jimmy G’s had some dog games this season like the 59.6% completion percentage against the Rams on Dec. 21. But if he throws over 30 passes, he should get at least 20 completions, right? Not necessarily. KC has one of the top secondaries in football. Go under.

QB Prop Pick: Under

Longest Completion – 37 ½

Play under for sure. Deebo Samuel can fly. But, KC will play bend but don’t break, which means we shouldn’t see too many big plays when SF has the football.

QB Prop Pick: Under

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Props

Total Passing Yards – 308 ½

Although San Francisco allows an average of 169.2 passing yards per, they have yet to face Patrick Mahomes. Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers dusted SF for 326 yards in a losing effort. Patrick should eclipse this total.

QB Prop Pick: Over

Total Pass Completions – 25 ½

Kansas City will throw the ball on Sunday. If San Francisco tries to play zone coverage, Mahomes dominates. If SF decides to double his targets, Mahomes beats them with his legs. The Niners won’t let Patrick do that. 26 completions feels like a sure thing.

QB Prop Pick: Over

Total Passing Attempts – 38 ½

Mahomes completes a huge percentage of his passes. He could go 26-of-30, or even 27-of-32. 38 ½ pass attempt is a lot. Mahomes tossed 35 passes against the Titans in the AFC Championship. Under is the play.

QB Prop Pick: Under

Total Passing Touchdowns – Over / Under 2

The odds heavily favor under 3 Mahomes’ TD passes. Makes sense. But San Francisco is a terrific red zone rush defense team. Also, what we categorize as passes, Andy Reid might call elongated handoff runs. Go for the money. Back over.

QB Prop Pick: Over 2 (-115)
