Why Bet On The Houston Texans?
Why should you bet on the Texans to get the road upset to cover the chalk? The best reason to back the Texans is that they’ve found ways to win their last three games, even if it has been in ugly fashion. Houston also has a play-making stud under center in quarterback Deshaun Watson and a boatload of talent on the defensive side of the ball. Not only that, but Houston is playing a Jacksonville team that struggles mightily to score and has a mediocre quarterback in veteran, Blake Bortles.
Houston has won three in a row with all three victories coming in ‘ugly’ fashion. The Texans got by Indianapolis 37-34 three weeks ago before squeaking past Dallas 19-16 two weeks ago and then escaping lowly Buffalo 20-13 this past weekend. Houston was lifted to victory on Jonathan Joseph’s 28-yard interception return for a score with 1:23 remaining in regulation.
“I kind of thought for a second to just get there and hold the ball so we can the run clock out,” Joseph said. “But then I was like: `A chance like that (doesn’t) come by so often. I’ve got to score this.”
Deshaun Watson completed 15 of 25 passes for 177 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and Houston picked off Bills backup Nathan Peterman twice.

Why Bet On The Jacksonville Jaguars?
Why should you bet on Jacksonville to snap out of their doldrums to get the big home and divisional win in Week 7? the best reason to back the Jags is that they’re playing at home where they are difficult to beat. Jacksonville also has a ton of desperation heading into this matchup, so there’s that as well.
One week after suffering a humbling 30-14 loss against Kansas City, Jacksonville was on the wrong end of an even more disturbing 40-7 blowout loss against Dallas this past weekend. Quarterback Blake Bortles was listless in completing 15 of 26 passes for 149 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Running back T.J. Yeldon added 41 rushing yards on a modest eight carries but Jacksonville was limited to just 65 rushing yards in the loss.
“Tough to describe, just pretty much a waste of a day, and a trip,” Bortles said. “Not by any means what we expected to do, were planning on doing. We’ve got to find a way to fix it, and we will.”

Expert Analysis and Prediction for Texans vs Jaguars
While I’m not impressed with Deshaun Watson and the Texans so far this season, I am going to advise you to back Houston to extend their winning ways against Jacksonville seeing as how the Jags have completely lost their way without star running back Leonard Fournette to lean on.
Jacksonville has been held to 14 points or less in losing two straight games and three of their last four games overall. The Jags aren’t giving the ball to backup running back T.J. Yeldon like they should and Blake Bortles is completely and utterly awful. Jacksonville is 2-5 SU and ATS in its last seven home games against Houston and they’ve got some serious problems right now. Houston has a true superstar in DeAndre Hopkins and Watson isn’t playing bad football as he continues to make his way back from last season’s ACL tear. The Texans and Jags are pretty even defensively in this one, but Houston has the big edge offensively.
