One of the worst things that can happen to any team in the NFL is losing their starting QB to injury, especially if the back-up is someone that nobody real has any confidence in. That is what happened to the Philadelphia Eagles when they lost starting QB Nick Foles to a broken collarbone, forcing them to turn to Mark Sanchez to lead them down the home stretch. Total disaster, right? Well, not yet it isn’t. Sanchez was very much the whipping boy during his time with the New York Jets, but he has looked a whole lot more composed and sure of himself in the time that he has taken the snaps for the Eagles. He started out by taking over against the Texans after Foles got hurt, leading Philly to victory in the process. He followed that up with a 300+ yard passing game against the Carolina Panthers. More importantly, though, he was able to avoid the turnovers that plagued him during his time in the Big Apple. He is going to have to be very good again this weekend against much stiffer competition in the form of the Green Bay Packers. So as we get ready for this match, let’s check the NFL betting odds, game lines and other info heading to this game.
Date/Time: Sunday, November 16th, 4:25 PM
Location: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin
If the outcome of this game was solely based on the quality at the QB position, Aaron Rodgers would be sure to win by a TKO. He has returned to MVP form in the past few weeks, throwing for close to 1,000 yards in the past three weeks alone. The Packers did a very nice job of bouncing back against the Bears last week after suffering a rough loss to the New Orleans Saints. This is a game that features a pair of teams with high-powered offenses. There is sure to be a gunslinger mentality adopted here, and it’s the team that has the most bullets in the chamber come the end of the game who will walk away with the win.

The Packers are always tough to beat at home, and the bookies have put them in as 6.5-point favorites here. They are 5-3 ATS on the season, and a very healthy 3-0 ATS at home. They have also managed to cover in all 5 games they have been made the favorite this season.
The Eagles are 6-3 ATS this season, but have not done a particularly good job of covering on the road. These two teams have only met once at Lambeau Field in the past 3 seasons, but it was the Eagles who prevailed SU and ATS in that one.
EAGLES: +5½-110, OV 54 ½ -110, ML +200
PACKERS: -5½-110, UN 54 ½ -110, ML -240
I think this is going to be a high scoring affair, but I also think it’s going to be very close. I like the Packers to win at home, but I’m going to be going with the Eagles +6.5.
