2021 Club Friendly European Matches To Bet From Aug. 7 to 8

2021 Club Friendly European Matches To Bet From Aug. 7 to 8

For the final weekend this year, top European clubs hit the pitch for friendly matches. Starting next week La Liga, Serie A, and the English Premier League begin their 2021-2022 seasons. The Bundesliga starts play on Friday, August 6, which is why you won’t see any German League soccer teams playing in club friendlies this weekend. Check out International Friendlies odds, analysis, and free picks for the top eight club friendly matches happening on Saturday and Sunday.

Club Friendly Matches Worth Betting  – European Teams Weekend Matches

Saturday, August 7th Matches

  • Everton / Manchester United

Manchester United hasn’t taken these friendly matches nearly as seriously as Everton. The Red Devils beat Derby County 2-1 in their first friendly, but then lost to Queen Park Rangers by a couple of goals and drew with Brentford. Everton beat Millonarios and Puma UNAM. Man U can win the Premier this season. They won’t play their top guys too long in a meaningless match.

Soccer Pick: Manchester United

  • Sevilla FC / Aston Villa

This is Aston Villa’s first match since May 23. Sevilla shows a couple of wins and a couple of draws in 4 club friendlies. The two draws happened versus AS Roma and Paris Saint-Germain. On paper, Sevilla should win this, but the La Liga squad sees an opening now that Messi won’t play for Barca. So, Sevilla is likely to sit their starters in the second half and prepare for the new Spanish Primera Division season.

Soccer Pick: Sevilla

  • AS Roma / Real Betis

This will be AS Roma’s sixth club friendly match since July 21. Roma hasn’t lost a single one of the matches. Betis has a couple of losses and a victory against Winterthur in their 3 club friendlies. Roma won’t go all out with the Serie A season looming, but they should play well enough for a draw.

Soccer Pick: Draw

Sunday, August 8th Matches

  • Arsenal / Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal won the last head-to-head versus Tottenham. But that was an EPL match. This is a club friendly. Why the Gunners and Hotspur are playing in a friendly a week before the season starts is anyone’ guess. In any case, Tottenham won’t have Harry Kane who thinks he’ll soon get a call from Man City. But Barcelona ditched Messi, which means if Pep has his choice, he’s going with Lionel. Arsenal picks up the win because Tottenham again has no clue what to do without Kane.

Soccer Pick: Arsenal

  • Atletico Madrid / Feyenoord Rotterdam

Atletico shows 2 wins and 2 losses in their 4 friendlies this summer. Feyenoord shows a draw and a loss in 2 club friendlies and a draw and a win in a couple of UEFA Europa League Qualifying matches. AM will play hard, but they won’t sweat it if F. Rotterdam gets the win. So backing Feyenoord makes some sense.

Soccer Pick: Feyenoord Rotterdam

  • Athletic Bilbao / Liverpool

For the Reds, last season was a throwaway. Liverpool failed to live up to their own expectations when they didn’t even challenge Man City. This season, Pool is ready. Allison and Fabinho have signed long-term deals. Mane and Salah have a bounce in their step. Liverpool will be one of the best teams in the EPL. But they won’t beat Bilbao on Saturday. The La Liga squad should take this.

Soccer Pick: Athletic Bilbao

  • AC Milan / Real Madrid

Real has played a single club friendly match this season. It happened against the Rangers and it was a losing effort. AC Milan hasn’t gone all out in their club friendlies, but they have started Brahim Diaz and Olivier Giroud requires playing time to ensure he’s ready for the season.

Soccer Pick: AC Milan

  • Inter Milano / Parma

We’d say Parma has a shot but Inter seemed excited to dominate 2020-2021 Serie A opponent Crotone 6-0 in their last club friendly. Parma played in Serie A as well this past season. Like what they did to Crotone, Inter will show Parma why they won’t play in Serie A this season.

Soccer Pick: Inter Milano
