Celta Vigo Vs Valencia

Celta Vigo played Eibar to a scoreless draw in their opener while Valencia smacked Levante around en route to a convincing 4-2 home win. Celta Vigo gave up 12 more goals than they scored last season (37). Valencia gave up 53 goals while scoring 46 goals.

Huesca Vs Cadiz

Huesca and Cadiz have both been promoted to the top league after being relegated to the second division last season. Huesca started their 2020-21 La Liga campaign with an impressive point at Villarreal last weekend, while Cadiz lost 2-0 at home to Osasuna on their return to this level of football.

Granada Vs Alaves

Granada (16-8-14) ended up in seventh place in the La Liga ladder while Alaves (10-9-19) finished 16th in the 20-team standings. Granada will be looking to improve to 2-0 in the young season after defeating Athletic Bilbao 2-0 in their season opener last weekend.  Alaves suffered a narrow 1-0 home loss against  Real Betis, conceding the game winner in the 94th minute of the contest.

Real Betis Vs Real Valladolid

Real Betis got their 2020-21 season off to a positive start by beating Alaves 1-0 on Sunday. Real Valladolid played Real Sociedad to a 1-1 draw in their opener. Real Betis deposited 48 goals in the back on the net last season while conceding 60 goals defensively. Valladolid scored 32 goals while allowing 43 defensively.

Real Sociedad Vs Real Madrid

Real Sociedad (16-8-14) finished sixth in the La Liga ladder last season while Real Madrid (26-9-3) won the La Liga title. Sociedad kicked off  their 2020-21 season with a draw at Real Valladolid last weekend while the defending champs will kick off their title defense in this affair on Sunday.
