Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta is in as the #1 seed here and appears to be on a collision course with Gael Monfils, who is in the bottom half of the draw as the #2 seed in the tournament. One man to keep an eye on here is Victor Estrella Burgos, who is in as the #6 seed. He has won this event in each of the 3 years that it has been played, and obviously seems to enjoy playing his tennis in Ecuador.
