Grigor Dimitrov vs. Pierre-Hughes Herbert

Hebert and Dimitrov have never met, but I’m thinking the world No. 82 is in trouble against Dimitrov who will be playing his opener in this match. Hebert dispatched Paolo Lorenzi (7-6 (7), 6-4 in his opener, but Dimitrov is a bit desperate right about now after getting off to a slow start this season, after winning the year-end ATP Championship Tournament last year. Dimitrov wins, but it’s going to take three sets.

Tennis Betting Pick: Grigor Dimitrov in 3 Sets

Gilles Müller vs. Alexander Zverev

I’ve always like World No. 28 Gilles Müller and his classic serve and volley game. he’s 1-0 against World No. 4 Sascha Zverev, having won their only meeting on grass 7-6 (5), 6-2 in the Netherlands a year ago, but Zverev has a game that is better suited to the clay courts, not to mention, he’s much younger, bigger, faster and stronger than his opponent. Zverev gets some revenge in this matchup while claiming it in straight sets.

Tennis Betting Pick: Alexander Zverev in 2 Sets

Daniil Medvedev vs. Kei Nishikori

Medvedev got past Marton Fucsovics 6-7 (4), 6-2, 7-5 sets in his opener, but Kei Nishikori looked fantastic in spanking World No. 12 Tomas Berdych 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 in his opener. Now ranked 36t in the world, Nishikori is looking to get back in the grand slam mix and he’s the far more explosive player in this matchup.

The 6’6” world No. 49 Medvedev is only 22-years-old, but I’m thinking he doesn’t have quite the footwork or maturation to hang with Nishikori in this one.

Tennis Betting Pick: Kei Nishikori in 3 Sets

Rafael Nadal vs. Aljaz Bedene

Analysis: Nadal will play his opener against Bedene who got past Mirza Basic 6-4, 7-6 (3) in his Round of 64 a day ago. It’s unfortunate for Bedene, but this is where his 2018 Rolex Masters will end.

Rafael Nadal is the Tennis Betting favorite to win the 2018 Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters.

Rafael Nadal is not losing his first match of any tournament on clay – against anyone! For the record, Nadal has won this event an insane 10 times, including eight straight times!

Tennis Betting Pick: Rafael Nadal in 2 Sets

Novak Djokovic vs. Borna Coric

Djokovic beat the hell out of Dusan Lajovic 6-0, 6-1 in his opener in just 56 minutes no less, but he’s going to find dispatching the gifted Borna Coric a whole lot more difficult in the Round of 32. I know the 13th-ranked Djokovic won their only meeting 6-2, 6-2 on clay back in 2016, but right now, the 39th-ranked Coric is the better and more confident player.

I know a lot of folks will look at this as an upset if Coric wins, but I don’t think that’s the case at all, which is why I’m picking the 21-year-old Croatian to get it done in three thrilling sets to even their career head-to-head at 1-1!

Tennis Betting Pick: Borna Coric in 3 Sets
