The final event of 2020 in the UFC is set to go on Saturday with a busy main card at UFC Vegas 17. There are, at this time, 6 fights set to go on the main card, but as we have seen in recent weeks, that card is subject to change at any given moment. For now, all is good to go, so let’s get into all the main card bouts and make some predictions as we go so you can make your bets against their UFC odds.

UFC Fight Night: Thompson Vs Neal | MMA Betting

Marcin Tybura (-105) Vs Greg Hardy (-125)

Things might get explosive from the off, with a pair of Heavyweights entering the octagon to get the night rolling. At 20-6, Tybura comes in with a 3-fight win streak under his belt, with each of those bouts going the distance. Former NFL start Greg Hardy is on a modest 2-fight win streak, taking his career mark to 7-2 in the process. This should be a good one, but I think Hardy takes it with a KO in the late rounds.

Gillian Robertson (-115) Vs Taila Santos (-115)

You need only look at the odds to see how evenly matched this Flyweight bout is. Robertson had a bit of an uneven start to her career, but she has been putting it together of late, winning 4 of her last 5 fights. Santos has an impressive 16-1 career mark, but she is also just 1-1 in the UFC, although she is coming off a win in her last bout. I see this one going the distance, with Robertson getting the nod.

Marlon Moraes (-160) Vs Rob Font (+130)

This is a Bantamweight bout between a pair of fighters currently sitting in the top 10 in the division. Moraes is the higher ranked of the two fighters, but with 2 losses in his last 3 fights, he is heading in the wrong direction at the moment. Font has won consecutive fights, but tis will be just his third bout in the past 2 years. I imagine Font will have some rust, which is why I like Moraes by KO.

Michel Pereira (-120) Vs Khaos Williams (-110)

If you are looking for fireworks, this Welterweight bout might be the one for you. If you go through the last 10 fights that Pereira has been involved in, you’ll see that only 1 has gone the distance. He has, though, lost 2 of his last 3. Khaos Williams is leaving a mark on the Welterweight division, winning 8 in a row, including each of his 2 fights in the UFC. He has made a habit of getting the job done quickly, which I think he does again here.

Jose Aldo (-145) Vs Marlon Vera (+115)

The Bantamweights are up next and it’s a pair of very familiar faces taking to the octagon in the co-main event. Jose Aldo is 28-7 in his career, but there may be some signs that he is reaching the end, as he has now lost 3 in a row. He needs this one. Vera bounced back with a win after losing to Yadong Song and is now on a run of 6 wins in his last 7 fights. This one goes the distance, with Aldo getting the decision.

Stephen Thompson (-110) Vs Geoff Neal (-120)

The Welterweights are up for the headline event of the night. Stephen Thompson won his last fight, but it has been a poor run of form of late, with just 2 wins in his last 5 fights. Neal is on an absolute tear, winning 7 in a row ahead of this one, but this may just be his toughest fight yet. I think Neal needs to finish this one early, as the longer it goes, the more it swings in the favor of Thompson.
