UFC Fight Night: Santos vs Walker Betting Odds & Picks

It’s another early start at the Apex this coming Saturday, with UFC Vegas 38 getting started at 4 PM EST. The early start is probably a good thing, as there is a lot of action to cram in. There are 6 big fights set for the main card and we are going to briefly cover them all here. We will have the latest UFC odds, as well as our predictions for all 6 fights, so let’s get right to it.

MMA Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night: Santos vs Walker

Alexander Hernandez (-550) Vs Mike Breeden (+375)

The main card gets started with a Lightweight bout that features one fighter desperate to get back to winning. That would be Hernandez, who has lost 2 of his last 3 to fall to 12-4. This will be a tough one, as Breeden comes into the UFC for the first time after winning 5 of his last 6 fights. This is a big step up for Breeden and I think he will be in trouble here.

Aspen Ladd (-270) Vs Macy Chiasson (+210)

Two very good fighters step into the octagon for this women’s Bantamweight bout. Ladd just recently took the first loss of her pro career, but she bounced back with a win and now sits at 9-1 overall. Chiasson has gone 7-1 to this point in her career and is on a modest 2-fight win streak. I think we see this one go the distance, with Ladd getting the decision.

Misha Cirkunov (+115) Vs Krzysztov Jotko (-145)

This one looks to be a very evenly matched Middleweight bout, with both men looking to avoid a 2-fight losing skid. Cirkunov ia 15-6 overall, but he has not had a good time of it of late, losing 3 of his last 5 fights. Jotko saw a 3-fight win streak come to an end with a loss last time out, taking his record to 22-5. I’m going to roll with the underdog here and take Cirkunov to win.

Niko Price (-180) Vs Alex Oliveira (+150)

Two very popular fighters square off next, but the reality is that neither of these Welterweights have been lighting it up lately. Price has just 1 win in his last 5 fights and has seen his career record fall to 14-5. Oliveira is now 22-10-1 after losing back-to-back fights and 3 of his last 5. Both men need a win here, but I think it will be Price who gets it via KO.

Kevin Holland (-170) Vs Kyle Daukaus (+140)

We have a great looking Middleweight bout going off as the co-main event of the night. Kevin Holland is a very respectable 21-7, but he is looking to pull out of a slump on Saturday night, as he has now lost 2 in a row. It has been much the same story for Daukaus of late, as he has lost 2 of his last 3 to see his career mark fall to 10-2. Holland has the experience to get back to winning ways in this one.

Thiago Santos (-160) Vs Johnny Walker (+130)

The evening ends with a Light Heavyweight bout, and once again we are looking at fighters in need of a win. Santos is in a real slump at the moment and comes into this bout on a 3-fight losing skid that has dropped him to 21-9. Walker bounced back from a 2-fight losing skid with a win last time out, but he has still not been totally convincing. This one makes me nervous, but I’m taking Santos for the KO.
