Week 7 Odds
In week seven, Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears take a trip to Green Bay to play the Packers, a team
that has won 4 of the last five games against the Whether Men. While the 9-point spread may suggest that Green Bay will demolish its rival, the two victories achieved by Chicago on their last six matches against the Packers have been at Lambeau Field. On top of that, the team needs to beat the Packers and win what will be a highly important game before going on bye week.
Rested from their bye week, the Minnesota Vikings will be facing their only back-to-back road trips of the year in Weeks 7 and 8. The first road challenge will be against the Philadelphia Eagles on week 7. The Eagles have seen a lot of change since ending “Chip Kelly’s Experiment” holding a disappointing 7-9 record. It will be interesting to see how the team plays under a new coach and maybe even see if second round pick QB Carson Wentz is a worthy successor for Sam Bradford.
The Steelers and Patriots square off on Sunday, October 23rd at Heinz Field. The Patriots have been a complete nightmare for the Steelers, and no team in the NFL has dominated the Steel Curtain in the way that New England has. While the Steelers still hold a narrow 15-13 advantage in the all-time record, the Patriots have scored 8 wins in their last 10 games vs. Pittsburgh, including a 55-31 victory in 2013 and a 28-21 win in last season’s opener.
