Week 8 Odds
The Kansas City Chiefs return to Lucas Oil Stadium for their first game since the historic 28-point comeback that gave the Colts a 45-44 win in the 2013-14 wild card game. The Chiefs are favored in 12 of the 16 games they are set to play this season, and while their last result in Indiana does not seam to mean much this time, they will enter this game as 1-pooint road underdogs.
We all remember what happened the last time the Arizona Cardinals paid a visit to Carolina: the Cards lost 15-49 in the NFC Championship Game. While the memories of their bitter loss still fresh in Bruce Arians’ mind, Week 8 match isn’t as big and relevant as the Conference Championship, although, it will offer the Cardinals a chance to redeem themselves and wash their face after last season embarrassment.
Also on Week 8, the Philadelphia Eagles will seek their fourth straight win over the Cowboys as they take a trip to Dallas for a Sunday night football game. Philadelphia is 5-1 in their last six games played in Dallas and 11-6 in their last 17 games. A win on Week 8 would give the Eagles their first four-game winning streak in Dallas since 1988 through 1991. This is the 10th straight year and 15th in the last 17 that at least one of the Eagles-Cowboys games is played in prime-time.
