Lewis Hamilton
There is something about racing in your home country that can often lead a driver to greatness. This has certainly been the case for Hamilton at the British Grand Prix, as he has won it 5 times, including each of the last 4 years. If he can take the checkered flag again this weekend, he will become the only driver to win this race 6 times. While snagging a piece of history is great, the here and now is all about winning the driver’s championship. As we mentioned earlier, Hamilton is sitting a point off the pace being set by Vettel, but a win here would put him right back on top and set up an exciting run for the rest of the season.Sebastian Vettel
The German is atop the driver’s standings but is probably well aware that he won’t be there very long if he finishes behind Hamilton at Silverstone on Sunday. Vettel has only ever won the British Grand Prix once, with that victory coming way back in 2009. After winning the first two races of the season, Vettel has only managed one more win in the last 7, although he has landed in the top 3 in a pair of other races. He is coming into this one on the back of a 3rd place finish in Austria, a result that put him on top of the standings.Kimi Raikkonen
The Finnish driver is the only other person in the standings to have accumulated over 100 points this season, but he could be even closer to the leaders had it not been for a pair of races where he is unable to finish. He has landed in the top 3 in 5 different races this season and has been the model of consistency. Raikkonen still has an outside shot at catching the other two, but he needs to start adding some wins to his 2018 resume.Daniel Ricciardo
Ricciardo is sitting off the pace with 96 points on the season, bit much like Raikkonen, his season could have been much more productive were it not for a trio of DNF races, including his last outing in Austria. What Ricciardi does have are a pair of wins on the season, proving that he can hang with the best if his vehicle can make it to the finish line. This is another driver who should be in the hunt this weekend.Last 10 British GP Winners
