Christian Edwards Vs Simon Biyong
The main card begins with a Light Heavyweight bout between a pair of fighters who have combined for just 1 loss in the early part of their careers. Edwards comes into this one looking to stay perfect, having gone 4-0 in his pro career, with only one of those fights going the distance. Biyong has made a solid start, too, going 7-1 through his first 8 pro fights. He comes into this one on a 4-fight win streak. This looks like a great matchup, but I am leaning towards Edwards.
Myles Jury (+110) Vs Sidney Outlaw (+140)
We have a pair of experienced Lightweight fighters stepping into the octagon for the second fight of the night. Jury closed out his time in the UFC with a pair of losses before stepping over to Bellator, where he lost his opening fight before winning 2 in a row to get to 19-5. Outlaw is a dangerous fighter who is on a great run of form, winning 9 of his last 10 fights. He is also 2-1 under the Bellator banner. Another good matchup, but I think Jury outlasts Outlaw.
Daniel Weichel (+105) Vs Keoni Diggs (-135)
It’s experience versus relative inexperience in this Featherweight bout. While there is just a 2-year age difference between these fighters, Weichel has done much more as a pro. He is 40-12-1, but he is also on a run that has seen him lose 3 of his last 4 fights. Diggs has just 9 fights as a pro, but he has won them all, including his first 2 under the Bellator banner. This will be a tough battle for Diggs, but I think he keeps his perfect record intact.
Liz Carmouche (-200) Vs Kana Watanabe (+170)
The women are up next for a Flyweight bout that serves as the co-main event of the night. Carmouche comes into this bout with a respectable 15-7 career mark, as well as a good run of form that has seen her win 4 of her last 5. She is going to be up against it here, though, as she is going up against Watanabe, who comes in with a 10-0-1 career record and back-to-back wins in Bellator. I think this one goes the distance, with Watanabe getting the win.
Tim Johnson (+210) Vs Valentin Moldavsky (-270)
The headline event of the night is for the interim Heavyweight title, so it’s all up for grabs for the big guys. Johnson is 15-6 overall and making his way back after a poor run of form, coming into this fight having won 2 in a row. Moldavsky is an absolute beast and is in a great run of form with 5 straight wins, taking his career mark to 10-1. I think it will be Moldavsky who walks away with the win, but he might need to go the distance to get it.
