There is a lot going on in the world of MMA this week, and the good news is that you do not need to wait for the weekend to get in on the action. Bellator 247, which will be held at the Allianz Cloud in Milan, Italy, will take place on Thursday, with the main card getting underway at 4 PM EST. In recent weeks, Bellator has had 3 fights on their main card, but they are upping the ante with this one and delivering 4 big bouts, which includes a pair of fights sharing the headline. There is a lot of ground to cover here, so let’s get right to our previews and predictions for each fight so you can wager on their Bellator odds.

Bellator 247 Betting Preview | MMA Betting Analysis

Brian Moore Vs Simone D’Anna

The first fight on the main card is a featherweight bout that features a fighter making a solid upward move within the weight class. After starting his pro career with 4 straight wins, D’Anna suffered back to back losses that killed a lot of his momentum. He has rebounded from those defeats well, though, and comes into this bout on a 3-fight winning streak, 2 of which came via submissions in the opening round. At 12-7, Moore is the more experienced of the two fighters, but he had made a habit of being inconsistent of late, going 3-3 in his last 6 fights. He is coming into this one off a win, but I think he loses again, with D’Anna taking this one by UD.

Kate Jackson Vs Denise Kielholtz

It is the ladies up next for a flyweight feature fight that will see Denise Kielholtz try to extend her current 3-fight win streak. Since moving away from Bellator Kickboxing events in favor of MMA, Kielholtz has been hot, going 5-1 in her last 6. She has finished each of her last 3 fights early and will be looking to get Jackson on the mat, as that is where Kielholtz is at her best. Jackson comes into this one with an 11-4-1 record and will be looking to bounce back after losing her last bout. She is now 4-2 in her last 6 bouts, so certainly not on a terrible run of form. I see this one going the distance, with Jackson sneaking the win.

Norbert Novenyi Jr Vs Laid Zerhouni

The penultimate fight of the night is a middleweight bout that serves as the co-headliner at Bellator 247. Novenyi Jr. exploded onto the professional scene with 4 straight wins, the first 3 of which came via submission in the early rounds. His fights are going to get tougher as he moves up the ranks, as he found in his last fight, where he needed to go the distance to get the UD win. Zerhouni comes in with a 7-5 pro record, but this is certainly a step up, as this will be his first fight under the UFC banner. I think that will prove to be too much, as I have Novenyi Jr. winning by submission.

Paul Daley Vs Derek Anderson

We have now just received news that the headline event has been cancelled, with Paul Daley forced to drop out through illness. While not great news, there are still 3 very good fights on this card.
