AFC East

Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Jets

This divisional race is going to be a wild one. The Buffalo Bills are still the most talented team in the division.

The New York Jets have a new flashy player that they hope leads them into the postseason. The Miami Dolphins have the most promise and upside. The New England Patriots are the best coached.

Two teams make the postseason in this division, and one of them is NOT the New York Jets. The Buffalo Bills (-270) and Miami Dolphins (-110) are our picks to reach the postseason.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers

This is going to be a dogfight from the beginning to the end. The Cincinnati Bengals are still the team to beat, but with the Burrow, injury have plenty of questions to answer.

The Baltimore Ravens are going to have a motivated and talented Lamar Jackson under center. Cleveland will get Deshaun Watson for a full season, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to bust out.

There is a good chance all four teams finish above .500. In the end, though, we are taking the Cincinnati Bengals (-270) and Baltimore Ravens (-177) to make the postseason.

AFC South

Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans

The Jacksonville Jaguars won a playoff game a season ago, and fans are going crazy in Florida over them. Jacksonville is well-coached and have a quarterback that is ready to move to the next level.

The Tennessee Titans know they need better quarterback play and the ability to get opposing offenses off the field. The rest of the division is horrendous. The Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans will likely be two of the worst teams in the league.

We are going with a minor upset here and taking the run game of Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans (+199) to reach the postseason and NO on the Jacksonville Jaguars (-196).

AFC West

Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers

That leaves us with two more teams out of the AFC West to reach the postseason. Obviously, Kansas City is hoping for all the health for their chance to get back to the Super Bowl.

The Los Angeles Chargers appear to be a sleeping giant, but will they wake up enough to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender this season? The Denver Broncos are going to be much improved and play teams to the end.

In fact, the Broncos will pull some upsets and be a fringe postseason team. The Las Vegas Raiders will not be terrible, but someone has to finish last in the division.

Our final picks for the AFC are the Kansas City City (-460) and Los Angeles Chargers (-124) to make the playoffs.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders

One of the most competitive divisions a season ago, and still saw the divisional winner run away with the title. The Philadelphia Eagles are once again the favorite. Jalen Hurts is going to be a force to reckon with in 2023. The Eagles will be challenged, though.

Dallas is going to be good again. Dak Prescott has some talented receivers and a defense that can play. The New York Giants made the playoffs a season ago and got their talented running back, Saquon Barkley, back in the mix.

Sam Howell has looked good in the preseason, but unfortunately, his Commanders are the underdogs here. We will take the Philadelphia Eagles (-500).

NFC North

Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings

Aaron Rodgers is gone from the NFC North, and some new blood is ready to take over. A season ago, though, Minnesota ran away with the division.

They are still the class of the division despite oddsmakers falling in love with the Detroit Lions. We have the Lions being the Lions and once again missing the postseason. Minnesota still has Justin Jefferson.

The Chicago Bears have Justin Fields, who they need to keep healthy. They are giving him some weapons to work with in Chicago. The Lions just can’t quit being the Lions, and the Packers struggle in their first season with Jordan Love under center.

We are taking the Minnesota Vikings (+110)and Chicago Bears (+155) to reach the playoffs.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Does anyone know what is going to happen in this division? A season ago, Tampa Bay was under .500 and won the division. Now, we may have the same thing happen this season.

The New Orleans Saints are the favorite, but buying into Derek Carr is not something we are ready to do there. Atlanta has young offensive studs in Desmond Ridder and Bijan Robinson, but they are not going there.

Tampa Bay should struggle without Tom Brady. We will take the rookie quarterback in Bryce Young and take an upset.

The Carolina Panthers (+206) will make the playoffs in 2023!

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks

The final division. The 49ers should be the class of the division, and with the Eagles, the entire NFC.

Pete Carroll and his Seattle Seahawks should be competitive, especially when moving the football via the air. Those two teams make the playoffs. The Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals struggle and are two of the worst teams in the league.

Take the San Francisco 49ers (-450) and Seattle Seahawks (-121) for the 2023 season!
