Renegades vs HellRaisers

Renegades hasn’t seemed to play well enough to set up for a victory  here. Renegades has gone 3-2 in their last 5, but the wins were against Alpha Red, Team One, and 5Power Club.

But, HellRaisers has lost their last 2:  0:2 to NRG eSports and 1:2 to Big. Renegades might not have as much talent as HellRaisers, but they’re a scrappy group of Counterstrike players. They might get the job done at what should be nice odds.

Liquid vs G2

Liquid heads to this match a big favorite. Save for a loss to NRG back on Nov. 23, they’ve gone 4-0 in their last 4 matches. They beat some decent teams like Big and Virtus.pro during the streak. The real thing to notice is how Team Liquid dominated NRG in two matches, 2:1 and 2:0, to more than make up for the loss.

G2 eSports hasn’t played well at all. If we could back Liquid on something like a run line, we would. That’s how much better Liquid’s battling right now.

NRG vs North

NRG projects to go off the slightest of favorites over tough North in the most competitive match in the ESL Pro League Season 8 quarterfinals. NRG is 3-2 in their last 5 with wins over Team Kinguin, Virtus.pro, and HellRaisers and 2 losses to Liquid.

North is only 2-3 in their last 5. But, they beat Windigo and Ninjas in Pyjamas. In the head-to-head, NRG’s only 3-2 over North in the last 5, meaning that North should have a big shot. This match should go either way.

Ghost vs Mousesports

Mousesports will be a major favorite once odds makers study the matchup. Ghost Gaming is 3-2 in their last 5, but they haven’t faced the same competition that Mousesports has. Ghost Gaming did split with Liquid back in mid-November, though.
