2018 Big 3 Basketball Championship Odds & Betting Prediction
Big 3 Basketball Playoffs Recaps
- Power 51 – Tri-State 49
Power’s only loss this season came in Week 3 to Tri-State. Tri-State, led by Jermaine O’Neal and David Hawkins, put up a valiant fight. Until Power’s Glen “Big Baby” Davis drained a couple of foul shots at the end, the game was up in the air. Nobody knew if Power had it in them to beat Tri-State.
Hawkins scored 15 for Tri-State. O’Neal scored 14 while he also grabbed 11 boards. For Power, Corey Maggette, who’s been the difference for this team in 2018, had 16.
- 3’s Company 50 – 3 Headed Monsters 28
The story in the second Big 3 Basketball Semifinal was Andre Emmett. Emmett’s scored 20 or more points 4 straight weeks. He helped 3’s Company to a 12-4 lead almost immediately after tip-off. By halftime, 3’s Company had built a 25 to 14 lead.
Emmett’s key 3-point shot in the second half put 3’s Company up 37 to 22. It was all over after that. Andre Emmett scored 27 points. Dhantay Jones scored 11 while Reggie Evans paced 3 Headed Monsters with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

- Big 3 Basketball Championship Betting Odds: Power -190 / 3’s Company -110
Power won the regular season battle with 3’s Company 50 to 44. A close game might have been closer if 3’s Company hadn’t played such a terrible first half. Power built a 25 to 15 lead by the half. 3’s Company rallied behind Baron Davis’ 27 points and 5 boards to outscore Power 29 to 25 in the second half.
Baron’s performance wasn’t enough. Like what Power’s done this entire season, Corey Maggette, Glen “Big Baby” Davis, and Coutinho Mobley stepped it up for Power in the win over 3’s Company. Maggette, Davis, and Mobley should step it up for Power in the championship game. This time, though, the final result will be different.
3’s Company has grown into the Andre Emmett show. He only poured in 8 points in the Week 2 loss to Power. In the second half of the season, Emmett’s been unstoppable. In Week 6 versus Tri-State, Emmett scored 23 points, grabbed 6 boards, dished 5 assists and stole the ball 4 times. 3’s Company beat Tri-State 51 to 29. In Week 7, a 51-33 victory over Ghost Ballers, Emmett scored 21, dished 3 assists, grabbed 7 boards, and committed 2 thefts.
Emmett and 3’s Company look like the winner.
Pick: 3’s Company
