Trilogy vs Enemies | Game 1
The Enemies could be in some trouble in this. Coach Gilbert Arenas, Agent Zero to his fans, made, well, zero changes to a team that finished 2-4 after six games last season.
Arenas believes cohesiveness is the way to go. That could work against Enemies because Steven Jackson coached Trilogy is searching for their third straight Big3 title.
The key in this will come down to how Enemies handles Trilogy’s size. Not well is the guess.

Game 2 – Triplets vs Bivouac
Coach Lisa Leslie convinced one of Big3’s best players to rejoin the squad. Joe Johnson took 2022 off after leading Leslie’s team the two prior seasons.
Johnson won the Big3 MVP Award in his first couple of seasons. Like the way he played in the NBA, JJ is impossible to stop from scoring buckets.
But although Johnson will be tough to contain, Bivouac is a talented group. Gary “The Glove” Payton coaches the improved Bivouac side.
Captain Gerald Green and cop-captains Corey Brewer and Garlon Green, Gerald’s brother, know the way to beat Triplets is to stick with Johnson. This will be a tight matchup that will go Bivouac’s way.

The 2022 runner up squad to Trilogy, Power has all the makings of the 2023 Big3 titlists. Nancy Lieberman has put together a talented crew.
3 Headed Monsters coach Reggie Theus was 2022’s HC of the year. Theus has a talented group. The Monsters can get it done.

Aliens is a straight up European squad. The only player on the team that was born in the U.S. is Alonzo Gee. Head coach Rick Mahorn believes the team can use the ball movement reminiscent of Euro hoops teams to win the title this season.
Ball Hogs has yet to make the postseason even though they’ve been around since 2022. Aliens has finesse that works in 3-on-3 hoops. So although Ball hogs should be better this season, they won’t beat Aliens in the first week.

Like every Big3 team, Ghost Ballers has talent. However, the Ballers could be in some trouble versus 3’s Company.
No team ended their 2022 regular season as hot as 3’s Company. It took the squad a while to figure out how best to use Michael Beasley. This season, coach Michael Cooper, the former Los Angeles Laker great, understands exactly how to use MB.

DeShawn Stephens will add a lot to Tri-State. Per many hoops analysts, Stephens is the best big in Big3. DeShawn fills a hole that kept Tri-State from making the playoff last season.
Tri-State relied too much on three-point shooting. With Stephens, Tri-State can now dump the ball into an athletic big. Give Tri-State the edge versus Killer 3s.
