Boxing Betting Events for Saturday, March 15
Jadier Herrera -1695 vs Jose Macia Enriquez +690
Boxing Pick: Jadier Herrera
Herrera versus Enriquez is going to be an intriguing bout. Enriquez has a nice 21-3-2 record. But Enriquez has fought mainly in his native Mexico, which doesn’t bode well for his chances versus Herrera.
The massive chalk is a 22-year-old from Cuba, where boxing is a beloved by all, who sports a dominant 16-0 record with 14 stoppage victories. Herrera ends Enriquez’s night early.
Brad Strand -103 vs Ionut Baluta -129
Boxing Pick: Brad Strand
16-5-1 Ionut Baluta lasted 12 rounds with then 15-0-1 Dennis McCann in his last bout. Baluta lost via unanimous decision. But he was up against a tough opponent.
Brad Strand bounced back from a unanimous decision loss to McCann with a sixth round KO of Marvin Solana in his last.
Baluta is a much tougher opponent than Solana, but Strand may have found power he didn’t know he had. Back Strand at the decent boxing moneyline odds.
^Andrew Cain -380 vs Charlie Edwards +260
Boxing Pick: Andrew Cain
Edwards will bring the boxing and Cain will bring the power in this interesting Saturday matchup. Edwards has a 20-1 record.
The underdog has scored just 7 stoppage victories. Not only that, but Edwards’s lone loss came via knockout, which is a bad sign heading into a bout versus the power punching Cain.
The favorite in this is 13-1 with 12 KO/TKO wins. The lone loss came via split decision versus Ionut Baluta in 2023. Since then, Cain has rolled through opponents, winning a bout via KO and 2 via TKO. The fave gets it done.

Nick Ball -1887 vs TJ Doheny +730
WBA Featherweight Title
Boxing Pick: Nick Ball
Doheny is a tough dude. How tough? In his last, TJ lasted a full 7 rounds with the most talented and ferocious puncher on the planet, Nayo Inoue.
The Monster got to Doheny in the seventh, but before Inoue forced a TKO, Doheny stood to toe with him.
But losing to Inoue can change your career. Most fighters never bounce back. To make matters worse for Doheny, Ball has been cruising through opponents.
The lone blip was a split decision draw versus the good Rey Vargas in a bout that happened last March in Saudi Arabia. Ball gets it done.
^Jamaine Ortiz -1099 vs Yomar Alamo +550
Boxing Pick: Jamaine Ortiz
In his last 4 fights, the heavy chalk in this has had a loss-win-loss-win pattern. If the pattern holds, Ortiz should lose on Saturday.
Boxers, though, aren’t the same as horses. So we must take a different approach when checking out a boxer’s form.
In this case, Ortiz takes on an opponent he should have no trouble besting. Yoma Alamo is a good boxer, but Alamo’s best days are behind him. In his last, Alamo fell via eighth round unanimous decision to Delante Johnson.
Alamo has lost a bout via stoppage. So if you don’t like Ortiz on the moneyline consider a knockout boxing prop.
^Edgar Berlanga -2000 vs Jonathan Gonzalez Ortiz +770
Boxing Pick: Edgar Berlanga
Canelo handled Berlanga no problem in Edgar’s last bout. Alvarez is a master boxer. He’s one of the best ever, so the fact that Berlanga lasted 12 rounds with Canelo is a testament to Edgar’s skills.
Berlanga doesn’t have to win via TKO or KO. He can win a bout with his feet and via points. On Saturday, Edgar takes on a 35-year-old who hasn’t come close to fighting a boxer on Berlanga’s level. Edgar should have no trouble winning this one.
^Austin Williams -226 vs Patrice Volny +165
Boxing Pick: Austin Williams
The main event is also one of the more competitive bouts based on boxing odds on the card. Patric Volny is no joke of a boxer. The +165 underdogs is 19-1 with 13 knockout victories.
The knock on Volny is that he’s fought mainly in his home nation of Canada. Austin Williams is 17-1 and bounced back from a TKO eleventh round loss to undefeated Hamzah Sheeraz with a dominant performance against Gian Garrido in his last.
Williams should get it done. Austin is the better overall boxer, and Volny is 35. But if you want to take a stab on the Canadian to pull off the upset, there is no argument here.
