The start of a new week means that it’s time to look ahead at what’s going on inside the ring over the next few days. As is usually always the case, most of the top boxing betting action for this week is set for the weekend. We have picked out 4 fights to take a look at, all of which can be seen on TV.We are well aware that wagering on boxing is a whole lot more fun when you can actually tune in and see your ticket win in real time. Now, we are going to take a quick look at each of these fights, making predictions for each while also letting you know where you can catch all the action.
He will have his hands full against Santa Cruz, a boxer who comes into this one with a career mark of 34-1-1 (19 KO). This is about that I think will go the distance, and I have Mares coming out on top by decision.

Mike Lee vs. Jose Hernandez
This one is set to go on Friday night in Illinois and can be seen on the CBS Sports Network at 10 PM EST. It’s a light heavyweight bout where Mike Lee will be trying to maintain his perfect professional record. Lee comes in with a 20-0 record, with 11 of those fights won by KO.He will be up against Jose Hernandez, who is sporting a 19-3 record with 9 KO wins. Lee would appear to the be the obvious choice here, especially when you consider that the Illinois native will be fighting in front of what is sure to be a very partisan crowd.Joe Salgado vs. Diego De La Hoya
Also on Friday night, we have an NABF Super Bantamweight Title fight set to go in New York, with this one available on ESPN2 and 3 at 10 PM EST. De La Hoya is an up and coming star in this weight class, and comes into this fight with a perfect 20-0 record, with 9 KO wins.He will be up against a veteran fighter in Salgado, a boxer who has a record of 36-4-2 with 29 KO. De La Hoya looks like a good pick here, although he is going to need to steer clear of the power that Salgado can flash. The longer this one goes, the more it swings in the favor of De La Hoya.Abner Mares vs. Leo Santa Cruz
We are off to the Staples Center on Saturday night for what looks to be a great WBA Super Featherweight Title fight, which will be on Showtime at 10 PM EST. Abner Mares will be making his second defense of the title and looking to improve upon his 31-2-1 (16 KO) career record.
