Takuma Inoue vs. Liborio Solis
WBA Bantamweight Title
Boxing Odds: Takuma Inoue O 10.5 -357 vs. Liborio Solis U 10.5 +236
Record: Takuma Inoue: 20-17-1 (12 KOs) / Liborio Solis: 5-0 (3 KOs)
When: Saturday, April 7, 2023 at 3:00 a.m. ET
Where: Aeriake Arena, Koto-Ku, Tokyo in Japan
TV / Streaming: DAZN/ESPN+
Inoue is a massive money line favorite, which is why instead of handicapping to find the winner, we’re handicapping over-under the total rounds.
The thing about Takuma is that although he’s a fantastic boxer, he doesn’t have a lot of power. 4 of Inoue’s 17 wins have come via stoppage. Solis has power but he hasn’t come close to fighting a pugilist with Inoue’s abilities. Inoue wins in an over match.
Boxing Pick: Over 10.5 | Bet Takuma Inoue vs. Liborio Solis Today

Anthony Olascuaga vs. Kenshiro Teraji
WBC & WBA Jr. Flyweight Titles
Boxing Odds: Anthony Olascuaga +326 vs. Kenshiro Teraji -555
Record: Anthony Olascuaga: 5-0-0 / Kenshiro Teraji: 20-1-0
When: Saturday, April 7, 2023 at 4:00 a.m. ET
Where: Aeriake Arena, Koto-Ku, Tokyo, Japan
TV / Streaming: DAZN/ESPN+
Anthony Olascuaga has stopped 3 of his opponents. He’s only fought 5 times. So the knockout ratio impresses.
But although Olascuaga has shown signs of developing into a top flight flyweight, taking on a fighter of Kenshiro Teraji’s caliber at this point in his career might be asking too much. Kenshiro is 20-1 with 12 stoppage wins. The chalk takes this.
Boxing Pick: Kenshiro Teraji | Bet Anthony Olascuaga vs. Kenshiro Teraji Today

Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs. Marlon Tapales
WBC & WBA Jr. Featherweight Titles
Boxing Odds: Murodjon Akhmadaliev -523 vs. Marlon Tapales +317
Record: Murodjon Akhmadaliev: 36-3 (19 KOs) / Marlon Tapales: 11-0 (8 KOs)
When: Sunday, April 8, 2023 at 1 a.m. BST
Where: Boeing Center at Tech Port, San Antonio, Texas
TV / Streaming: DAZN
Since a loss to Ryosuke Iwasa in 2019, Marlon Tapales has rolled to 3 straight victories. Tapales beat Eden Sonsona in 2020 via second round technical knockout. Marlon then won his next 2 fights via straight KO.
No doubt, Tapales is a good boxer but he’s taking a massive step up in class. Murodjon Akhmadaliev is 11-0 with 7 stoppage victories. Akhmadaliev beat then 33-3 Ronny Rios via a twelfth round technical knockout in his last.
Tapales will perform well for a while. By the seventh round, the underdog will start slowing down. Akhmadaliev could win this via TKO or KO.
Boxing Pick: Murodjon Akhmadaliev | Bet Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs. Marlon Tapales Today

Jesse Rodriguez vs. Cristian Gonzalez
WBO Flyweight Title
Boxing Odds: Jesse Rodriguez O 9.5 -117 vs. Cristian Gonzalez U 9.5 -117
Record: Jesse Rodriguez: 17-0 (11 KOs) / Cristian Gonzalez: 15-1 (5 KOs)
When: Sunday, April 8, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. ET
Where: Boeing Center at Tech Port, San Antonio, Texas
TV / Streaming: DAZN
Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez is a massive favorite. Gonzalez is a good boxer, but Rodriguez is on a different level. Jesse should win this, no problem.
So the question is whether Rodriguez knocks Gonzalez out before the tenth. Based on Rodriguez’s current form and Gonzalez’ past performances, Rodriguez should end the fight before the ninth.
Gonzalez is a good boxer, but he plied his trade in Mexico. The gyms in Mexico are fantastic. They rival those in the U.S. But the best Mexican fighters travel across the border and into the U.S.. Bam ends this in the seventh or eighth.
Boxing Pick: Jesse Rodriguez | Bet Jesse Rodriguez vs. Cristian Gonzalez Today

Shuichiro Yoshino vs. Shakur Stevenson
WBC Lightweight Title Eliminator
Boxing Odds: Shuichiro Yoshino O 10.5 -333 vs. Shakur Stevenson U 10.5 +224
Record: Shuichiro Yoshino: 16-0 (12 KOs) / Shakur Stevenson: 19-0 (9 KOs)
When: Sunday, April 8, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. ET
Where: Prudential Center, New Jersey
TV / Streaming: DAZN
Shakur Stevenson will win this fight. Yes, Shuichiro Yoshino is undefeated with a 16-0 record, but he hasn’t come close to facing a fighter with the boxing IQ that Shakur possesses.
Also, Yoshino tends to stand right in front of his opponent. Stevenson’s lateral movement is going to give Shuichiro problems all night.
But although Shaku easily wins, it’s unlikely he takes out the Japanese star. Yoshino has a metal chin. Stevenson wins every round and coasts to a decision victory.
Boxing Pick: Over 10.5 | Bet Shuichiro Yoshino vs. Shakur Stevenson Today
