Miguel Marriaga +536 vs Michael John Conlan -1428

Now 16-1 with 8 knockout wins, Michael Conlan hopes to get his career back on track after suffering a devastating technical knockout loss in his last fight.

Leigh Wood wore down Conlan, finally taking him down via technical knockout in the twelfth round in the chalk’s last bout. Conlan doesn’t choose an easy opponent for his comeback fight.

Miguel Marriaga is 30-5 with 26 knockout or technical knockout wins. Marriaga has fought guys like Eudardo Rodriguez and Joet Gonzalez. He can hang with Conlan and, maybe, the favorite never bounces back from his last bout.

Boxing Pick: Miguel Marriaga

Tom Hill +706 vs Paddy Donovan -2500

Favored Paddy Donovan is 8-0 with 6 KO or TKO wins. Donovan last fought in February, beating Miroslav Serban via tenth round technical knockout.

The chalk faces a strong competitor in Tom Hill. The underdog brings a 10-2 record with 2 losses into the ring. One of Hill’s losses, though, was via knockout. Paddy takes this and Donovan should win via knockout or technical knockout.

Boxing Pick: Paddy Donovan

Aro Schwartz +845 vs Kieron Conway -5000

Underdog Aro Schwartz has some power. The 28-year-old German super middleweight has won 13-of-19 via technical knockout or knockout.

Not only that, but Schwartz hasn’t lost since March 2018 when Ahmad Ali beat him via unanimous decision. But although Schwartz is a decent boxer, he’s fought almost exclusively in Germany.

The boxing gyms in Germany aren’t on the level of those in Britian. Conway is 17-2-1 with 3 knockout wins. What Conway lacks in power, he makes up for with excellent boxing skills. The chalk is so confident that he’s already signed to fight 11-0 Austin Williams at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in September.

Boxing Pick: Kieron Conway

Alexander Meija +839 vs Hopey Price -5000

7-0 with 3 technical knockout wins, Hopey Price is a huge favorite to beat 18-3 Alexander Meija. One of the reasons so many believe Hopey takes this is because he’s recently discovered how to finish off opponents.

2 of Price’s 3 TKO wins have happened in his last couple of fights. One of the technical knockout wins was versus then 16-1 Zahid Hussain.

It doesn’t look like Meija has much of a chance. He’s fought in Nicaragua twice, Mexico, and Spain in his last four bouts. The journeyman shouldn’t last the full eight rounds. A prop bet on Price to end this before the eighth makes sense.

Boxing Pick: Hopey Price

Michael McKinson +667 vs Vergil Ortiz -2500

Michael McKinson is an excellent boxer. You don’t go 22-0 unless you know what you’re doing in the ring. The problem McKinson has had throughout his career is that he doesn’t have a ton of power.

Vergil Ortiz is 18-0 with 18 knockout or technical knockout wins. McKinson will try to box his way to a win, but the chalk will eventually get to the underdog. McKinson’s boxing skills will keep him in it for a while. So expect a late round TKO or KO Ortiz victory.

Boxing Pick: Vergil Ortiz
