Dillian Whyte 28-2 with 19 KO wins
- Why back Dillian Whyte to beat Tyson Fury?
Whyte moves exceptionally well for such a big man. He doesn’t have the footwork that Fury has, but Whyte can cut off the ring, which will force Fury to stay stationary. Then when that happens, Whyte has the ability to fight inside. So if he can keep his arms to the inside of Fury’s, Whyte will have a chance to do some damage.

WBC Champions Tyson Fury 31-0-1 with 22 KO wins
- Why back Tyson Fury to beat Dillian Whyte?
Most boxing experts rate Fury the best heavyweight in the world because of the way he moves. Fury is never a stationary target, which makes him very difficult to hit. Not only that, but Tyson uses movement to put his opponents into difficult positions. Fury almost always wins the angle, so to speak, which means Whyte will have to figure out a way to get Fury off his base and win the position battle. No boxer before has done so. Why, then, would anyone believe Whyte can accomplish the task?

Final Betting Analysis: Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte
Dillian Whyte is a good boxer, but there are a couple of issues he’ll have in this bout. First, he’s not nimble enough to cut off the ring, which means he’ll either have to fight moving backwards, in which case, he’ll be toast before the sixth round, or he’ll spend all night trying to stalk Fury and that won’t work.
Second, Whyte is prone to taking big shots. Alexander Povetkin landed a monster shot to knock out Whyte in the the first fight. What it tells us is that Whyte doesn’t give his opponents enough looks, meaning Povetkin had a straight shot to Whyte’s grill.
Tyson is used to creating angles so he can land his best shots. Whyte will have tons of trouble keeping Fury from doing whatever he wants, creating the perfect angels where the champ can land his most powerful punches.
Finally, Whyte has experience but he doesn’t have the right kind of experience. He’s never fought anyone close to Tyson Fury’s skill set.
Fury dominates this bout. Tyson will land whatever he wants whenever he wants. Backing Fury makes sense, but the best bet is to parlay the Fury moneyline to under 9 ½ total rounds. The current payout is +109.
Boxing Pick: Parlay – Fury -560 and U 9 ½
