It’s a great week to be a fan of MMA, as there are a ton of events coming over the next few days. Cage Warriors are at the heart of it all, with no less than 3 events coming this week. There are a lot of fights here, but rather than breaking them all down, we are going to take a closer look at the top 2 fights in each of the 3 cards. Let’s get right to it so you can get all set to bet against their Cage Warriors odds.
MMA Betting Preview for Cage Warriors 123, 124 & 125
Cage Warriors 123 – Thursday at 12 PM EST
- Christian Leroy Duncan Vs Will Currie
The co-main event on this card is a Middleweight bout between a pair of up-and-coming English fighters. Duncan has made a perfect 3-0 start to his pro career, including a KO win in the 2nd round against Currie last time out. That was the first loss for Currie, who had won his previous 5 fights before taking the defeat. I don’t like his chances of getting revenge, as I have Duncan for the KO win.
- Nathias Frederik Vs Matthew Bonner
This event closes out with a Middleweight title bout that will see Frederik try to defend his title. Frederik comes into this one with a 9-2-1 record, with both of those losses coming in the first 2 fights of his pro career. Bonner is 9-6-1 and on a 3-fight win streak ahead of this bout, but you get the feeling that this one might be just too much of a step up in class. I am taking Frederik for the KO win.
Cage Warriors 124 – Friday at 12 PM EST
- Jesse Urholin Vs Aaron Khalid
The Welterweights will step into the octagon for the co-main event of the main card. Urholin will be looking to maintain his perfect record, which currently sits at 6-0, with only one of those going the distance. Khalid has been up and down in his career, going 10-6-1. He comes into this fight having lost 2 of his last 3. I don’t see things getting any better for him here.
- Agy Sardari Vs Joe McColgan
We close out this event with another title fight, with the Lightweights going at it. Sardari comes in as the defending champion and a hot run of form that has seen him win 8 in a row, albeit by split decision in each of his last 2. McColgan is 9-3-1 and is getting his title shot after a very good win over Kieran Lister last time out. This is a much tougher proposition, though, which is why I am taking Sardari to win.
Cage Warriors 125 – Saturday at 12 PM EST
- Connor Hignett Vs Gerardo Fanny
A pair of Flyweights in need of a win step into the octagon in the co-main event of the night. Hignett comes into this one on the heels of a win, but he has lost 2 of his last 5 to fall to 9-6 overall. Fanny started his career with 8 straight wins, but he has now lost 2 of his last 3 and needs a win to break out of this slump. I am on Fanny to get the job done with a KO win.
- Ian Garry Vs Jack Grant
They don’t come much bigger than this, with both of these fighters looking to get their hands on the vacant Welterweight title. Garry has been perfect to this point in his pro career, winning all 6 fights and doing so by only having to go the distance once. Grant is 17-6 overall and has been a little up and down of late, going 3-2 in his last 5. I think this one is Garry’s to lose.
