Friday, Oct. 19

  • Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Ottawa RedBlacks

Hamilton put together their second straight win after beating Toronto 34-20 on Oct. 12 as a -9 road favorite. That’s not only 2 straight wins, it’s also 2 straight covers. The Tiger-Cats attempt to keep it going against Ottawa, a team they lost to 15-21 way back in late July.

Ottawa’s allowed Hamilton to tie them in the East Division at 8-7. Unlike the Tiger-Cats, the RedBlacks have dropped 2 in a row after winning 2 in a row. The RedBlacks couldn’t get their offense going versus Edmonton on Oct. 13.

They should get their offense going versus Hamilton. Ottawa to win and cover’s the play.

CFL Week 14 Pick: Ottawa RedBlacks ATS
  • Edmonton Eskimos at British Columbia Lions

Edmonton finally broke a 3-game losing streak with the win over Ottawa this past Friday. The Eskimos hope to keep it going versus a suddenly tough British Columbia squad.

The Lions have gone 5-2 straight up in their last 7. Wins include beating Ottawa 26-14, Hamilton 35-32, Toronto 26-23, and Calgary 26-21 on the moneyline as a +10.5 road dog. BC’s playing too well to take a backward step against Edmonton.

They should beat the Eskimos and cover the spread on Friday.

CFL Week 14 Pick: British Columbia Lions ATS

Saturday, Oct. 20

  • Montreal Alouettes at Toronto Argonauts

Montreal has lost 4 in a row. They could turn things around against the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday, though. The last time the Alouettes won a football game it was 25-22 over Toronto on August 24. They’ve covered in 2 straight, losing by only 5 to Saskatchewan as a +6.5 dog, and losing by only 6 to Calgary as a +13.5 dog.

Toronto hasn’t been as efficient going 0-7 SU and 2-5 ATS in their last 7. This game’s a chance for Montreal to not only win against the spread, but to also win straight up.

CFL Week 14 Pick: Montreal Alouettes SU
  • Saskatchewan Rough Riders at Calgary Stampeders

Signs pointed to Calgary not dominating like they did earlier in the season when they could only beat Montreal 12-6. This past Friday, British Columbia pulled off the unfathomable upset, beating the Stampeders straight up as a double-digit dog.

Now, Calgary must fend off Saskatchewan who dominated them 40-17 in a game in late August. The Rough Riders are a horrible cover team, 1-4 ATS in their last 5. But, they have gone 3-1 in their last 4.

Saskatchewan heads into this battle off a stunning 0-31 loss to Winnipeg.  The Rough Riders should bounce back with a nice effort. They’ll cover and have a great shot of pulling off the moneyline upste.
