Football Betting Picks and Odds to Win the 2023 XFL Championship

2023 XFL Season

  • When: Feb. 18 – May 13

2023 XFL Championship Odds to Win

  • St. Louis Battlehawks +300
  • Seattle Sea Dragons +350
  • Arlington Renegades +400
  • Vegas Vipers +400
  • San Antonio Brahmas +500
  • Orlando Guardians +500
  • Houston Roughnecks +600
  • D.C. Defenders +700

Top Play: Arlington Renegades +400

Like every football team no matter college, the NFL, or the XFL, success depends first on your quarterback. The most important position in all of team sports requires a player that can take over a game.

In that sense, the Arlington Renegades have a good one in former USFL quarterback Kyle Sloter. Sloter has a lot of NFL experience, mostly as a practice squad player.

While with Birmingham last year, Sloter led the Stallions to the USFL Championship. His experience both with the NFL and in playoff situations is the reason the Renegades are the top pick to win this season’s XFL title.

Second Pick: St. Louis Battlehawks +300

Oddsmakers assigned favoritism to the St. Louis Battlehawks because they drafted A.J. McCarron.

For some reason, the former Alabama quarterback never found a home in the NFL. McCarron was a star for the Crimson Tide, throwing for over 9,000 yards and 77 touchdowns during his career.

McCarron, easily, is the best quarterback in he XFL. Unless the rest of the team does nothing, St. Louis should have a terrific season.

Third Pick: Seattle Sea Dragons +350

Ben DiNucci should star the season throwing for the Seattle Sea Dragons. DiNucci has NFL experience playing with the Dallas Cowboys in 2020 and 2021.

In his college days, he threw for James Madison, one of the greatest Football Championship Series programs in history. James Madison was so dominant that after the 2021 season, the program moved up to Division 1.

So DiNucci knows what he’s doing. Give Seattle a look to win it all. If you agree with the DiNucci thesis, throw a few bucks behind the Sea Dragons.

Best Underdog Pick: D.C. Defenders +700

The longest shot on the board could surprise big time. A couple of seasons ago, the buzz in Florida was all about this JUCO transfer quarterback named D’Eriq King.

King was supposed to put the Miami Hurricanes on his back and challenge the Clemson Tigers for the ACC title. King suffered numerous injuries during his college career.

But if King is 90% of what he once was, the Defenders’ offense is going to be close to impossible to stop. If D’Eriq is one-hundred percent healthy, D.C. can win the title because a one-hundred percent King will be the best athlete in the entire XFL.

D’Eriq spent 2022 playing on Carolina’s and New England’s practice squads. So King also has NFL experience. If you want to back the top dog, D.C. is the one that has the best chance of biting the favorites.
