Best NCAAF Futures and Prop Bets for Your $100

$100 NCAAF prop bet strategy – Four $25 overlay bets

The key is to choose overlay prop and future plays that have a chance.

If we don’t be on overlays with our $100, or if we dump the entire $100 onto a single play, our chances of profiting takes a hit.

For example, even though Georgia looks like a strong play to win the National Championship, the Bulldogs are at +300.

If we bet our entire $100 on Georgia, we have no other choice but cross our fingers and hope the Dawgs don’t suffer an injury or upset in the College Football Playoff.

But if we spread around $100 onto $25 overlay college football props, we stand to profit if we hit a single bet.

See below for the four top overlay $25 plays in this upcoming college football season.

Bet 1 – Arizona to win the Big 12 +1500

Plenty of good teams play in the Big 12. Utah, Kansas, Kansas State, TCU, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Houston, and BYU are quality programs.

Utah, Kansas State, and TCU are premier college football programs that season in and season out display excellent football, specially for this upcoming NCAAF season.

But none of those teams return as many impact players as the Arizona Wildcats.

The Cats boast one of the top, if not the top, quarterback and wide receiver combinations in the country in Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan.

Receiver McMillan should go in the first round at next year’s NFL Draft.

Fifita has been McMillan’s quarterback since both were in the eighth grade.

Not only that, but the Wildcats return most of their starting offensive line from a year ago and the defense should be one of the best in the Big 12.

Linebacker Justin Flowe will turn NFL scouts’ heads. Corner Tacario Davis, will linebacker Jacob Manu, and free safety Gunner Maldanado were outstanding in 2023.

If the defensive line comes together, the D will flourish.

Bet NCAA Conference Winners: Arizona to Win the Big 12 +1500

Bet 2 – SMU to win the ACC +1600

Most expect Florida State, Miami, and Clemson to dominate the Atlantic Coast Conference.

It’s hard to argue against those backing the Seminoles, Canes, and Tigers. This is especially true after watching how Mike Norvell’s Noles went undefeated last season.

Still, Southern Methodist, an American Athletic Conference squad in 2023, has talent to give FSU, Miami, and Clemson a run for the title.

Like many underrated Power 5 Conference schools, SMU boasts plenty of experience on both sides of the ball.

Quarterback Preston Stone is a junior. Running back Jaylon Knighton is a senior.

The wide receiver are senior Romello Brinson, graduate transfer Jake Bailey, and junior Jordan Hudson.

Left tackle Andrew Chamblee transfers from Arkansas.

Chamblee and the rest of the offensive line is the key to SMU’s success.

If the Mustangs can give Stone time, he should move the ball at will. Also, SMU’s schedule is as easy as can be. The matchup against Florida State is a home game and the Stangs don’t play Miami or Clemson.

If things work out, SMU could lose one or two regular season games this season.

No doubt, winning the ACC Championship won’t be easy.

The odds, though, make SMU a massive overlay.

Bet NCAA Conference Winners: SMU to Win the ACC +1600

Bet 3 – Ole Miss QB Jaxon Dart to win the Heisman Trophy +1600

Lane Kiffin runs a quarterback centric offense, which means Dart is going to have an exceptional season.

In 2023, Dart was fantastic when throwing for 3,364 yards and 25 TDs. Jaxon only tossed 5 picks.

He also rushed for 391 yards and 8 touchdowns.

This season, Dart is going to lead a National Championship contender, one that has a schedule that includes a good mix of tough games.

The Rebels take on Georgia, Oklahoma and LSU in 2024, and highlight reel games, Dart gets to show his stuff versus Wake Forest, Middle Tennessee, and Georgia Southern.

By the time Ole Miss battles Georgia on November 9, Jaxon Dart might be the front runner to win the Heisman.

Backing Dart at 16-to-1 odds right now is an excellent play.

Bet Heisman Trophy: QB Jaxon Dart to Win the Heisman Trophy +1600

Bet 4 – USC to win the Big 10 +2000

On paper, USC has no chance of beating Oregon or Ohio State and winning the Big Ten. But there is something the Trojans have going for them that the Ducks and Buckeyes don’t.

Check out USC’s Big Ten schedule and then we’ll discuss.

  • at Michigan
  • vs Wisconsin
  • at Minnesota
  • vs Penn State
  • at Maryland
  • vs Rutgers
  • at Washington
  • vs Nebraska
  • at UCLA

There isn’t a team on the Big Ten slate that USC can’t beat. Penn State and Michigan will be tough to get by, but both teams should struggle against Lincoln Riley’s offense.

The impactful change that Riley made was stealing UCLA’s defensive coordinator, D’Anton Lynn.

Lynn then went out and convinced Oregon State linebacker Easton Mascarenas-Arnold to play for the Trojans.

Lynn will shore up the defense while Riley’s offense will have mass success.

The USC Trojans have a real shot of making waves in their first season in the Big Ten.

College Football Odds Weekly Round Up of Rumors & News

Previous Betting News

This week the 2015 NCAA football season gets underway. As the games begin, there are also plenty of rumors flying around the sport and with NCAA Football betting fans. Let’s take a look at some of the most recent news items to emerge.

Here’s Our Round Up of College Football Odds Weekly News & Rumors

Eastern Kentucky or Coastal Carolina, Who Will be in in the Sun Belt Conference

The Sun Belt Conference was looking for a 12th and final member, and the two finalists were Eastern Kentucky and Coastal Carolina. According to USA Today’s Dan Wolken and ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina will claim that top spot. They will join in football in 2017-18 but a year earlier in all other sports.

Eastern Kentucky had the advantage of a bigger athletic infrastructure, but Coastal Carolina has two major advantages: access to a lot of money (their new head coach Joe Moglia, is a billionaire who just left the world of banking behind) and recent football success (Moglia is no weak link in the coaching ranks, as he has gone 32-10 over three seasons and taken the Chanticleers to the FCS quarterfinals the past two years.

This will allow the Sun Belt to form two divisions and host a championship game. Coastal Carolina will be in the East, with Appalachian State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Troy and South Alabama. The West will have Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe, Arkansas State, Texas State, New Mexico State and Idaho. Coastal Carolina will need a stadium upgrade, as FBS teams must have an average of 15,000 in paid attendance over a rolling two-year time frame. Coastal Carolina currently plays in Brooks Stadium, which can acccommodate 9,214 fans.

USC Could Use a Break

Out west, USC athletic director Pat Haden has had a trying two weeks. First there was head coach Steve Sarkisian getting all in his cups at a local bar. Now, former defensive end Morgan Breslin is suing the university. His claim is that the school misled him when he wanted disability insurance. In 2012, as a junior, Breslin was All-Pac-12. However, in November 2013, his senior season came to an early end as he had hip surgery. In 2014, he had a look with the San Francisco 49ers, but that surgery really ended his career.

Before his senior year, though, Breslin and asked USC to collaborate with him on finding a disability insurance program. He said a university-appointed broker took him through the process of buying from AmTrust at Lloyd’s. However, AmTrust has denied his claim and voided his policy. Now Breslin is going after USC, saying that the coverage was not sufficient. The suit claims that the unviersity manages all communication between the insurer and the student-athlete, running it through the Compliance Department and the medical and training staff. Breslin’s suit asks for “unspecified damages.”

Brandon Harris To Be Starting QB for LSU

At LSU, it looks like Brandon Harris will be starting at quarterback. The sophomore beat out junior Anthony Jennings for the job. In 2014, Harris’ rating was about 60 points higher than Jennings, although Jennings played a lot more. Neither quarterback is a Heisman candidate, though. Instead, the LSU quarterback is a game manager, keeping turnovers down and handing the ball to Leonard Fournette.

NCAA Football Betting Weekly News and Rumors

Previous Betting News

If college football odds fans watched LSU football at all this season, you know how special an athlete Leonard Fournette is – easily the college game’s best running back. However, NFL running back Herschel Walker has had even higher praise. He told TMZ Sports that Fournette is better as a player now than Walker was while Walker was at the University of Georgia. He said, “He’s better than I was. He’s like a fullback because he can take punishment and keep on going.”

Let’s Check Out Which are the NCAA Football Betting Weekly News and Rumors

Fournette is just a sophomore. If he came out this year, he would go in the first round in the NFL draft in 2016. However, the NCAA how has a rule that players have to stay for three seasons after graduating high school. However, Fournette is NFL-ready today. He started the season with three touchdowns and 159 yards against Mississippi State, but he was just warming up. He ran for 228 yards against Auburn, scoring three times.

He galloped for 244 yards against Syracuse – and could have had 334, because he had a 90-yard run wiped off because of a penalty. Fournette is definitely a front-runner for the Heisman Trophy, and this week they play Eastern Michigan – which gives up more than 373 yards per game on the ground. This could get ugly.

Georgia in Between Corn and Investigations

University of Georgia head coach Mark Richt has been at the helm of the Bulldogs for 15 years now. If you look on the Twitter feed for Rutland farms, you’ll see a drawing that shows plans for a complex corn maze dedicated to honoring his service.

Georgia wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie is under investigation for an alleged threat to kill a woman. She was identified in a police report as a UGA student. She told police that McKenzie had said that he was going to bring some friends to come with him to kill her. Four players appear as witnesses in the report.

Texas and Missouri Rumors

Bloomberg is reporting that the Swoosh may not be representing the University of Texas for much longer. Under Armour and Adidas are both expected to make big pushes to sign the big school to a contract for apparel. Nike is the current outfitter and has an exclusive window for negotiation that ends on October 1. There is no sign that the school will sign before them, and so Adidas and Under Armour plan to get into the mix. Adidas recently inked Houston Rockets guard James Harden away from Nike, and Under Armour upped the bidding for Kevin Durant, who eventually took $300 million from Nike over 10 years.

Missouri lost to Kentucky last week, 21-13. They face South Carolina this week, but they won’t have their starting quarterback, Maty Mauk, because he has been suspended for undisclosed disciplinary reasons. Mauk has gone 57 for 110 so far on the season, passing for 654 yards and six scores against four interceptions, and the Tigers are 3-1. Mauk has also run for 145 yards and a score. Backup Drew Lock is the likely candidate to start for the Tigers.
