NCAA Football Week 11 ATS Picks

Written by on November 6, 2018

After 10 weeks of the college football season, it is really only Alabama and Clemson who look to be playoff locks. Things get a little trickier once you look beyond the top 2, with a handful of teams still in with a legitimate shot at making it into the playoffs. Some paths look to be clearer than others, with a few of those teams needing to win out and clinch a conference title in order to potentially punch their ticket. We are now going to look ahead to Week 11, which means making some NCAAF betting picks for you guys to play this Saturday. We are starting with ATS picks but be sure to keep an eye out for SU and O/U picks, which are also coming.

NCAA Football Week 11 ATS Picks

BYU Cougars (-14) at UMass Minutemen

The Cougars are coming into this one on the heels of back to back losses, a run that saw them score a combined 22 points over two games. There is a good chance that the offense might be able to get back on track this weekend, though, as they are going against a UMass team that has been bleeding an average of 44 PPG this season.

While BYU may not be getting wins, they have been a solid bet on the road, going 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games away from home. In comparison, UMass are just 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games overall.

  • Brigham Young is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games on the road
  • Massachusetts is 3-6 ATS in its last 9 games

UCLA Bruins at Arizona State Sun Devils (-12 ½)

One more win for the Arizona State Sun Devils and they become bowl eligible in their first season with Herm Edwards in as head coach. You certainly have to like their chances of getting that win against a UCLA team that has managed just 2 wins on the season, only 1 of which has come on the road.

UCLA is now just 1-13 SU in their last 14 road games, but perhaps more importantly, they are just 3-8 in their last 11 games away from home. Arizona State has covered the spread in 4 of their last 5 games in their own building.

  • UCLA is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games
  • UCLA is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games on the road
  • Arizona State is 13-6 ATS in its last 19 games
  • Arizona State is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games at home

Kentucky Wildcats (-4 ½) at Tennessee Volunteers

The Kentucky Wildcats saw their dream of an SEC East title end over the weekend with a home loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. It was certainly disappointing for Kentucky, but they need to look at what they have accomplished this season and be proud. The goal now is to finish strong and land in one of the more glamorous Bowl Games this coming holiday season.

Kentucky is one of the favorites for NCAA Football Week 11.

The Wildcats are in as a 4 ½ point road favorite against the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend, which is a spread that I like a lot. Historically, Kentucky has not been good ATS versus the Vols, but this is a much different Wildcats team than those from years past.

Latest NCAA Football Week 11 Betting Trends

  • Kentucky is 6-12 ATS in its last 18 games
  • Kentucky is 9-4 ATS in its last 13 games on the road
  • Tennessee is 4-8 ATS in its last 12 games
  • Tennessee is 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games when playing Kentucky

Temple Owls at Houston Cougars (-4 ½)

The Temple Owls saw their 3-game winning streak come to an end with a loss to the UCF Knights, but they did not go down without a fight, losing that one 52-40. The 52 points given up is a cause for concern, though, as they are now up against a Houston team that is averaging almost 50 PPG.

The Cougars are going to put points on the board, but the question here is whether the Owls can keep up with that pace. They may be able to for a while, but let’s not forget that they have never beaten Houston in 4 attempts. I am on the Cougars to pull away in the second half, covering in the process.

  • Temple is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games
  • Temple is 8-1 ATS in its last 9 games on the road
  • Houston is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games
  • Houston is 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games at home
