NCAA Football Week 13 Over/Under Picks

Written by on November 20, 2018

Week 13 Betting action is certainly going to be unlucky for some, as it’s the final game of the regular season in college football, which means that there are going to be teams who miss out on bowl games and a shot at a conference championship. It’s going to be a hectic couple of days, as we have a bunch of very big games set to go on Friday, as well as the busy Saturday that we always see in college football. We are trying to deliver as many picks for this weekend as possible and will be focusing on O/U picks in this piece. We will also have ATS and SU picks for you guys, so look out for those, too.

NCAA Football Week 13 Over/Under Picks

Oregon Ducks at Oregon State Beavers (OVER 69)

It has been another disappointing year for the PAC 12, as they will once again likely fail to send a team to the college football playoffs. While that means that there is nothing at stake in this game, this is one that you will want to watch if you are a fan of wide-open offensive football.

Whenever these two meet we tend to see some offensive fireworks, with 13 of the last 16 meetings between these two going OVER the point total. That would certainly go against the current trend, as Oregon has seen the under hit more often than not in their road games. Forget about that, though, as I think this one is going OVER.

Latest NCAA Football Week 13 Betting Trends

  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Oregon’s last 6 games
  • The total has gone OVER in 13 of Oregon State’s last 16 games when playing Oregon

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Georgia Bulldogs (OVER 59 ½)

The biggest danger for the Georgia Bulldogs heading into their rivalry game is that they make the mistake of looking ahead to Alabama and the SEC Championship game next weekend. This team has been laser-focused since losing to LSU a few weeks ago, though, so I just don’t see that happening.

The Dawgs offense has been firing on all cylinders since that LSU loss, with a 66-point showing against UMass last week the latest flexing of those muscles. I see the Bulldogs totally overpowering the Yellow Jackets here, and I also see the total going OVER.

  • The total has gone OVER in 6 of Georgia Tech’s last 8 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Georgia’s last 6 games at home

Syracuse Orange at Boston College Eagles (UNDER 57 ½)

While I love the UNDER in this one, my biggest concern is that with these two being so evenly matched, we may well end up heading into OT. It has been the UNDER that has been the prevailing outcome with these two, though, as 5 of their last 6 meetings have gone that way.

Syracuse is one of the favorites for NCAA Football Week 13.

Syracuse has also played things a little closer to the vest when going on the road, with 4 of their last 6 games away from home going UNDER. It has been very much the same with the Eagles, with 5 of their last 6 games landing below the point total.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Boston College’s last 6 games

Illinois Fighting Illini at Northwestern Wildcats (UNDER 58)

I am going against the recent trends between these two teams with this one, as 7 of their last 10 meetings have gone the way of the over. The problem that I see here is that Illinois has generated most of their offense via the running game.

While they will have some success here, they are unlikely to get anywhere close to the 250+ YPG they have been gaining on the ground this season. Northwestern is not a team that is going to come out and posts big numbers, as they are averaging just 22 PPG this season. I think the Wildcats win this one and keep the total UNDER.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 10 of Illinois’s last 15 games at home
  • The total has gone OVER in 4 of Northwestern’s last 6 games when playing on the road against Illinois
