Wagering on the point total in college football can be tough, especially when you are looking at games featuring a ranked team against a much lesser foe. Once those games get out of control, the ranked teams tend to pull their starters and take their foot off the gas a little, which can often result in the under hitting when the overlooked like a sure bet. As tough as it is to make these picks, we are all over it, and we have come up with 4 O/U picks for NCAA Football Week 7. Be sure to look out for out SU and ATS picks, as well as out parlay tickets for the week.

Tennessee Volunteers at Auburn Tigers (UNDER 47)
This has very quickly turned into a bit of a disaster season for Auburn, as they have now dropped a pair of conference games before even reaching the midway point of the year. Part of the issue for the Tigers is that they have been misfiring on the offensive side of the football, which is all the more disappointing when you see how well they have played on offense.
The Volunteers are about what we expected in their first year of rebuilding under new head coach Jeremy Pruitt, which is to say that they are not very good. They are going to have a tough time scoring on that Auburn D, which is why this one stays UNDER.

- The total has gone OVER in 5 of Tennessee’s last 7 games on the road
Minnesota Golden Gophers at Ohio State Buckeyes (OVER 59)
The obvious bet here would be to take the Ohio State Buckeyes SU, especially since they have won 10 in a row over the Golden Gophers. There is no value to be had in that bet, though, which is why we are turning out attention to the point total.
While it is the under that has prevailed in those last 10 (4-5-1) meetings, you need to look at the current trends, which sees the OVER hitting in 4 of the last 6 games that Minnesota has played on the road. Ohio State is averaging 49 PPG this season, so they are going to get close to the total all on their own, which is why the OVER seems like the bet here.

Baylor Bears at Texas Longhorns (OVER 61)
After losing their opening game of the season to Maryland, the Texas Longhorns are suddenly back in the playoff conversation. They are coming off an absolutely massive win against previously unbeaten Oklahoma last week, a game in which the Longhorns offense was firing on all cylinders.
Texas still needs to do a lot to impress the playoff committee because of that early loss, so look for them to keep their foot on the gas in a big way. The under has hit in each of Baylor’s last 5 visits to Texas, but they have seen 4 of their last 5 road games go OVER, which is what I am on here.

Virginia Tech Hokies at UNC Tar Heels (UNDER 57 ½)
The Hokies have been one of the toughest teams to predict this season, as they have adopted a little bit of a Jekyll and Hyde persona through the first 6 weeks. They go out and beat Florida State as an underdog, but then lose to Old Dominion as a huge favorite. At just 1-3, the Tar Heels have been a little easier to predict.
They are just not getting the job done on the offensive side of the football and you wonder where the points are going to come from this weekend. 9 of the last 11 meetings between these two have gone UNDER, so let’s go that route again.
