2019 College Football Week 11 Over/Under Betting Picks

Written by on November 5, 2019

Last week was a bit of a strange one in college football in that many of the top teams sat it out for their bye week. It really was the calm before the storm, as we have some absolutely huge games on tap this coming weekend. The biggest of the bunch sees the #1 and #2 AP Poll teams go head to head, with LSU and Alabama squaring off in a game that could potentially serve as a playoff elimination game.

There are plenty more games on tap besides that one and we have you covered. We have broken down all the games to deliver what we think are the best picks of the College Football week 11. For this piece, we have O/U NCAAF Betting selections, but be on the lookout for our ATS and SU picks too.

2019 College Football Week 11 Over/Under Betting Picks

2019 College Football Week 11 SU Betting Picks

Florida State Seminoles at Boston College Eagles (UNDER 62)

The while the Seminoles go about the business of finding their next head coach after the firing of Willie Taggart, they still need to play out the rest of the season as they look for the two wins that would get them into a bowl game.

This weekend they will face a Boston College team that can clinch their bowl spot with a win. 4 of the last 5 meetings between these two have gone UNDER the point total, while the Seminoles have seen each of their last 6 games overall go the same way. I think we are looking at the UNDER again for this one.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Florida State’s last 5 games this season
  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Boston College’s last 5 games against Florida State

Maryland Terrapins at Ohio State Buckeyes in College Football Week 11 (OVER 63 ½)

This looks like one of the most straightforward picks of the weekend, at least in terms of the straight up win, as Ohio State should have no problem extending their unbeaten run to an impressive 15 games. There is also a very good chance that the Buckeyes might well run up the score here, as that is the way things have gone in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.

Ohio State has average 55 PPG in those last 5 meetings, with the combined point total coming in at close to 80 points. That makes this one look like an OVER all the way.

  • The total has gone OVER in 5 of Ohio State’s last 5 games against Maryland

Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Virginia Tech Hokies (UNDER 64)

It has been a fantastic year for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, who come into their Week 11 game with an impressive 7-1 record. This is going to be a tougher one for them, though, as they have just 1 win in their last 5 meetings with the Virginia Tech Hokies.

With this one, though, all we are concerned about is the point total, and the UNDER looks like a good bet here. The UNDER has hit in 5 of the last 6 games that the Demon Deacons have played, as well as in 6 of their last 7 games played in the month of November.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Wake Forest’s last 5 games played on a Saturday
  • The total has gone OVER in 5 of Virginia Tech’s last 5 games against an opponent in the Atlantic Coast conference

Iowa Hawkeyes at Wisconsin Badgers in College Football Week 11 (OVER 38)

With these selections, I always like to try and find a game that goes against the current trends, which is what we most certainly have with this one.

When you look at the trends for these two teams, all you really see is the under being mentioned, which is no real surprise given how good they both are on the defensive side of the football. When they go head to head, though, things are essentially split down the middle in terms of the O/U. I think this one goes OVER the 38 point total.

  • The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Iowa’s last 7 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Wisconsin’s last 6 games against an opponent in the Big 10 conference
