2019 College Football Week 11 Parlay Picks

Baylor (8-0) at TCU (4-4)

  • When: Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM ET
  • Where: Amon G. Carter Stadium, Fort Worth, Texas
  • TV: FS1
  • College Football Week 1 1 Odds: Baylor -1 / Total: OFF

Baylor had their hands full in getting past West Virginia 17-14 on Saturday, but the Bears answered the bell for the eighth straight time this season despite failing to cover the chalk as an 18.5-point home favorite. TCU has lost three of their last four games and will face a Baylor defense that has limited the opposition to just 18.5 points per game to rank 20th nationally in points allowed.

With the Horned Frogs going a dismal 7-20 ATS in their last 27 home games and Baylor going a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last six games following an ATS loss and a near-perfect 5-1 ATS in their last six road games, the handwriting is clearly on the wall. The Bears win and cover the chalk as a surprisingly low, 1-point road favorite.

Pick: Baylor 31 TCU 24

Maryland (3-6) at Ohio State (8-0)

  • When: Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM ET
  • Where: Ohio Stadium, Columbus, Ohio
  • TV: FOX
  • College Football Week 11 Odds: Ohio State -42 / Total: OFF

Maryland has dropped four straight including an embarrassing 38-7 spanking at the hands of Michigan on Saturday. Ohio State is on fire, having scored 34 points or more in every game this season, including their emphatic 38-7 beat-down of Wisconsin two weeks ago. The well-rested Buckeyes are ranked third in scoring (48.2 ppg) and first in points allowed (7.9 ppg).

The Terrapins have gone an uninspiring 5-16 ATS in their last 21 road games and a pitiful 2-12 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Ohio State is 7-0 ATS in their last seven conference games and 4-0 ATS in their last four home dates. If this Week 11 Big Ten battle isn’t over by halftime, I’ll be completely shocked.

Pick: Ohio State 56 Maryland 10

Penn State (8-0) at Minnesota (8-0)

  • When: Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM ET
  • Where: TCF Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • TV: ABC
  • College Football Week 11 Odds: Penn State -7 / Total: 48

Unbeaten Minnesota ranks an impressive 14th in scoring (38.4 ppg) and an equally surprising 24th in points allowed (20.0 ppg). The Gophers come into this matchup off a resounding 52-10 blowout win over Maryland two weeks ago and they have not allowed more than 10 points in three straight. Penn State ranks 13th in scoring (38.5 ppg) and a stellar second in points allowed (9.6 ppg). For me, while both of these Big ten rivals are unbeaten, Penn State has been far more impressive in beating the likes of Iowa and Michigan in two of their last three while Minnesota has skated past mediocre opponents like Rutgers and Maryland the last two weeks.

The Nittany Lions have won five of the last six meetings in this rivalry, including a narrow 29-26 overtime win a year ago. With Minnesota playing at home and the home team in this rivalry going 3-1-2 ATS in the last six meetings, I’m going to say the Gophers are the pick to narrowly cover the chalk as a touchdown home dog. Minnesota is riding the wave of a stellar 6-0 ATS mark in their last six conference games while Penn State has gone 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win.

Pick: Penn State 27 Minnesota 23
