With the start of the 2019 NCAA college football season less than a month away, now is a great time to take a fun-filled look at the top, must-bet matchups on the Week 13 schedule. With a ton of conference rivalry clashes going down at this late juncture, let’s find out who’s in action and who’s looking good heading into their respective College Football Week 13 betting matchups.
2019 College Football Week 13 Must-Bet Games
Temple at Cincinnati
- When: Saturday, November 23. 2019
- Where: Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
Cincinnati might have gone an impressive 11-2 and a fine, 6-2 in AAC play, but the Bearcats just can’t seem to defeat the Temple Owls whenever they meet. Cincinnati has dropped four straight against their Philadelphia-based rivals including a humbling 24-17 overtime road loss against the Owls in Week 8 last season while failing to cover the chalk as a 2.5-point road dog. The good news is that it’s been either feast or famine for both teams in this rivalry with Cincinnati winning five straight prior to their four-game losing streak in this AAC rivalry.
UCLA at USC
- When: Saturday, November 23
- Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, CA
While USC went an uninspiring 5-7 in 2018 and UCLA went a pathetic 3-9 in Year 1 of the Chip Kelly era, the Bruins got one of their three wins by recording a solid, 34-27 win at home over the Trojans in Week 12 last season to cover the chalk as a 2.5-point home underdog. Both teams will be looking to rebound in a big way in 2019, but the Trojans have won three of the last four and will be motivated to get back in the win column in this lengthy series. USC brought in Graham Harrell to be their new offensive coordinator, but the Bruins will look to make a big move in Year 2 under Kelly.
Texas A&M at Georgia
- When: Saturday, November 23
- Where: Sanford Stadium, Athens, GA
Texas A&M went a stellar 9-4 in their first season under head coach Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies have some nice talent on both sides of the ball for their national championship-winning head coach, starting with underrated quarterback Kellen Mond. Georgia went 11-3 last season and the Bulldogs will definitely be looking to get back in the four-team College Football Playoff mix after doing so in 2017. Georgia has gone 32-10 in three seasons under head coach Kirby Smart and they’ve got an elite quarterback of their own in Jake Fromm and what should be another stupendous defense this coming season.
Penn State at Ohio State
- When: Saturday, November 23
- Where: Ohio Stadium, Columbus, OH
Penn State and Ohio State will both have new starting quarterbacks after seeing Trace McSorley and Dwayne Haskins both leave for the NFL. The Nittany Lions went 9-4 under head coach James Franklin last season while Ohio State went a stellar 13-1 under former head coach Urban Meyer. With Ryan Day taking over for the Buckeyes, it remains to be seen, just how well he’ll be able to keep Ohio State’s success under Meyer going. In Happy Valley, the Nittany Lions look rock-solid on the defensive side of the ball, but they’ve got some insanely huge question marks, starting at quarterback. While Ohio State has won two straight and six of the last seven against Penn State, the Nittany Lions will be looking to get the big road upset after narrowly falling to the Buckeyes 27-26 at home last season.
