There are now just 2 weeks left in the college football regular season, after which we will be into the Conference Championship Games. That is just 3 weeks remaining for teams to impress the playoff committee, which is not a lot of time for those that are outside the top 4 looking in. Of the teams sitting in the playoff spots right now, the only team that could lose in the last 3 weeks and still likely be guaranteed a playoff spot is LSU, assuming that loss comes in the SEC Championship Game versus Georgia.
The pressure is high for everyone still in with a shot, which makes for exciting NCAAF Betting action. Let’s now look ahead to Week 13 of the season to see if we can deliver some college football SU picks.
2019 College Football Week 13 SU Betting Picks
North Carolina State Wolfpack over Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Why wait until Saturday when there are a number of games on the Week 13 schedule in the early part of the week? We have a Thursday night game set to go, with the NC State Wolfpack hitting the road to face Georgia Tech in Atlanta. It has been a rough season for both of these teams, but NC State still has a shot at becoming bowl eligible.
They do, though, need to win their final two games of the season. It has been a rough month for NC State, as they have failed to win or cover in each of their last 4 games, but I think they pull out the win in a close one on Thursday.
College Football Week 13 Betting Trends
- Wolfpack are 1-5 SU in their last 6 games
- Wolfpack are 1-5 SU in their last 6 games against an opponent in the Atlantic Coast conference
- Yellow Jackets are 1-7 SU in their last 8 games

UCF Knights over Tulane Green Wave in College Football Week 13
After a couple of seasons of looking indestructible and chattering on about being unofficial National Champions, the UCF Knights suddenly look mortal this season. They hit the road to face Tulane with a 7-3 record, which is just 1 win better than the Green Wave.
All 3 of the UCF losses this season have come on the road or at a neutral site, while Tulane are sitting with a perfect 4-0 record in their own building. Despite all of that, this is a game that the Knights should be able to win, although this could end up being a close one.
College Football Week 13 Betting Trends
- Knights are 16-4 SU in their last 20 games
- Knights are 11-2 SU in their last 13 games on the road
- Green Wave are 11-5 SU in their last 16 games
- Green Wave are 6-0 SU in their last 6 games at home
Virginia Tech Hokies over Pittsburgh Panthers
This should actually go down as one of the better matchups of the day, as it features a pair of teams coming into the weekend with very respectable 7-3 records on the season. This is a game that could very well be decided by a FG, which makes it a tough one to call, but in those types of instances, I always tend to favor the team with the home field advantage.
This is especially true here, as the Hokies have won 6 of the last 7 games played in their own building, and while they don’t have a great record against Pitt, I think they come away with the win in this one.
College Football Week 13 Betting Trends
- Panthers are 6-1 SU in their last 7 games
- Panthers are 6-1 SU in their last 7 games played in November
- Hokies are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games
- Hokies are 6-1 SU in their last 7 games at home
Stanford Cardinal over California Golden Bears in College Football Week 13
Despite having disappointing seasons, this is still a big game for both teams in terms of becoming bowl eligible. The Golden Bears can get there if they come away with the win, as that would take them to 6-5 on the season. On the flipside, the Cardinal need to win out to get their 6 wins, so a little bit of pressure on both teams heading into this one.
This is another evenly matched game where it may once again be home field advantage that proves to be the difference. Stanford is 15-4 in their last 19 games at home, so you have to like them here.
