College Football has seen it’s fair share of straight up underdog upsets this season. Although not every game below is a moneyline upset, there are enough for football handicappers to make a few dollars. When it comes to underdogs, a single upset SU victory can make the week. Check out 10 SU picks where either the underdog has a shot to win outright or the favorite offers fair NCAAF odds.
NCAAF SU Picks Week 15 | College Football Betting
- When: Friday, Dec. 11 – Saturday, Dec. 12
Friday, Dec. 11th Matches
- Arizona State -410 / Arizona +315
Neither college in Arizona, ASU or UofA, have won a football game this season. Arizona State did hang with USC in their first game, which is why they’re a big time favorite on the moneyline. Wildcats quarterback Grant Grunell could be the difference, though. The Arizona signal-caller has thrown 6 TDs to just a single pick. He’s listed as questionable but should play, making the underdogs attractive to win SU.
NCAAF Free Pick: Arizona
- Nevada +120 / San Jose State -140
Undefeated San Jose State averages over 30 points per while holding opponents to less than 18 each game. Nevada is 6-1, though. The Wolf Pack can pull off the upset in what should be one of the more competitive matchups in Week 15.

Saturday, Dec. 12th Matches
- Oklahoma -540 / West Virginia +395
Oklahoma has played like a team possessed. This could be a trap game for the Sooners, though, because they face Iowa State on December 19 in the Big 12 Championship. The Sooners should play okay. They may allow the Mountaineers to hang around until the fourth quarter. At that point, the home team could have the edge on the moneyline.
NCAAF Free Pick: West Virginia
- Georgia -500 / Missouri +375
Don’t let the Bulldogs 45-16 win against South Carolina fool you. Quarterback J.T. Daniels threw for just 139 yards. He also threw a pick. Mizzou can score from anywhere on the field, have won 3 in a row, and get the Dawgs at home. Here’s another where the underdog has a shot at the SU victory.
NCAAF Free Pick: Missouri
- North Carolina +125 / Miami -145
You’d think that North Carolina would have a chance, and they do, but the odds don’t justify an SU bet on the Tar Heels. Miami’s D’Eriq King will be the best player on the field. Also, the Hurricanes’ defensive line could rough up Sam Howell. Go with the home team.
NCAAF Free Pick: Miami
- Wisconsin -115 / Iowa -105
Wisconsin’s offense is dreadful. It’s scored 7 and 6 points in the Badgers’ last couple of games. Iowa offers a lot of value at -105. Not only do they take on Wisconsin at home, but they also have won 5 in a row and are averaging 30.3 points per.
NCAAF Free Pick: Iowa
- Duke +165 / Florida State -195
Duke is one of the worst teams in the nation. But so is Florida State. When faced with a game between two devastatingly bad football teams, it makes sense to back the one offering the better odds.
NCAAF Free Pick: Duke
- Washington +175 / Oregon -210
Why did the Washington Huskies lose to the Stanford Cardinal in Week 14? Washington was looking forward to this matchup. Oregon is not the radically awesome Pac 12 team that everyone thought they were. The Ducks dropped a game to Oregon State. Then in Week 14, California beat them. Washington all the way.
NCAAF Free Pick: Washington
- Oklahoma State -200 / Baylor +170
Oklahoma State is a bad road team. Two of the Cowboys’ losses were on the road. Kansas State almost beat them in another road game. But Oklahoma State heads into this off two straight losses and Baylor is not a good football team. Lay the -200 on the favorite.
NCAAF Free Pick: Oklahoma State
