Will Christian McCaffery win the Heisman Trophy this season? Will the USC Trojans finally live up to their roster talent? Are the Washington Huskies finally ready to make a big breakthrough under Chris Petersen?

Thanks to the five bold college football free picks that you’re about to get on the Pac-12, you’re going to get the answer to the previous questions and much more. Let’s get started.

Analyzing The 5 Bold College Football Winning Predictions For PAC-12

Christian McCaffery for President!

Will gifted hybrid running back/wide receiver/kick returner Christian McCaffrey win the Heisman Trophy in 2016 after finishing second a year ago? My answer is an unequivocal ‘yes’! I believe McCaffery is the best all-around football player in college football today and his 2015 season backs that claim up despite the fact that former Alabama running back Derek Henry won last season’s Heisman. The son of former NFL star Ed McC

affery set the NCAA single-season all-purpose record last season with 3,864 total yards, including a school-record 2,109 rushing yards. Hell, forget about the Heisman Trophy, at this point in what has been the most insane presidential election in U.S. history, I’ll vote for the Stanford star for President!

Will USC Underachieve Again?

Clay Helton guided USC to the South Division title last season as an interim head coach last season and I think he will lead the Trojans to even greater heights in 2016.

Helton will turn to quarterback Max Browne four years after he was named the National High School Player of the Year and he’ll be helped out by  USC’s stellar collection of skill position players, including senior running back Justin Davis (902 yards, 5.3 average) and sophomore Ronald Jones (987 yards, 6.5 average). The Trojans won’t win the Pac-12 in 2016, but they certainly won’t underachieve.

Is Washington Locked and Loaded?

A lot of football experts are expecting big improvement out of the Washington Huskies in 2016, but say, hold your horses just a bit on Chris Petersen’s team. Washington has a whopping 17 returning starters, including still blossoming quarterback Jake Browning and underrated running back Myles Gaskin, not to mention a defense that allowed just 18.8 points a game in 2015.

The bad news is that the Huskies have road dates against Utah, Oregon and in-state rival Washington State, not to mention a home date against Stanford visits Seattle on Sept. 30 in a game that could decide the North Division winner. The Huskies may be locked and loaded, but they’re not winning the North Division in 2016!

Can Utah Utes Upset the Entire Apple Cart?

Utah recorded more wins than any team in the South division while tying USC with a 6-3 record in conference play. The Utes could record another double-digit win season if junior college recruit Troy Williams is the answer at quarterback. Utah has an experienced offensive line and a couple of All-Conference players on defense.

The underrated Utes could very well upset the entire apple cart for equally underrated head coach Kyle Whittingham in 2016. Will, they? No, but I’m thinking eight or nine wins sounds about right for the Utes.

Will the Ducks be Mighty in 2016?

The Oregon Ducks will be on their third quarterback in the last three seasons and second straight FCS signal-caller with Dakota Prukop likely taking over as Oregon’s starter this coming season. No matter who starts under center, the Ducks will likely lean on elite running back Royce Freeman early on while the addition of new defensive coordinator Brady Hoke could help the Ducks’ porous defense become a lot better.

Mark Helfrich’s team finished 9-4 and suffered three of the four losses by a touchdown or less, leading me to believe the Ducks could be more mighty than mediocre in 2016.
