#15 Pittsburgh Panthers vs. #16 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Final Betting Prediction

On the surface, this should be a tight high-scoring game, but although Wake Forest has a very good offense, it’s not as powerful as Pittsburgh’s.

Sam Hartman completes about 60% of his passes. Kenny Pickett completes 67.7%. Pickett has thrown more TDs, 40, and fewer interceptions, 10 compared to 7.

We also must consider the two defenses. While Pittsburgh’s D allows 92 rushing yards per game, Wake Forest’s defense allows close to 210 each contest.

The Demon Deacons should have an issue containing both Kenny Pickett and Pittsburgh’s rushing attack. On the flip side, the Demon Deacons have no choice but to put the ball in Sam Hartman’s hands.

Although this should be close, the Panthers will prevail with a cover win. Pittsburgh’s defense is much better than Wake Forest’s and Pickett is playing better than Hartman.
