Series History
Because the Big 12 brought back a conference title game this year, it didn’t want the Bedlam game to close the regular season so there wouldn’t be an immediate rematch in the title game. So this rivalry was moved to the first Saturday in November. It’s not a totally new thing. Bedlam has been played 14 of the last 30 times prior to Nov. 15 and as recently as 2004. This year, it takes place with three more games left on the schedule for both teams prior to the Dec. 2 championship game. Oklahoma has dominated the Bedlam Series, owning an 86-18-7 (.806) all-time record against Oklahoma State (OU’s most wins against any opponent). The Sooners have won six of their last seven at Boone Pickens Stadium, including a 58-23 game against the No. 11 Cowboys two years ago to claim the Big 12 title. OU is 10-2 against OSU with Mike Gundy as the Cowboys’ head coach.- Total Meetings: 111
- First Meeting: November 6th, 1904. Guthrie, Oklahoma
- Last Meeting: December 3rd, 2016. Norman, Oklahoma
- All-Time Series: Oklahoma Sooners 86-7-18
- Largest Margin of Victory: Oklahoma 75-0 (1904)
- Longest Win Streak: Oklahoma 19 (1946-1964)
- Current Win Streak: Oklahoma 2 (2015-2016)

The Sooners (7-1) come off a 49-27 win over Texas Tech. Heisman candidate Baker Mayfield completed 22 of 34 passes for 281 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for another score. Rodney Anderson had 181 yards rushing and a touchdown, and Abdul Adams returned from a two-game absence due to an ankle injury to add 95 yards rushing on 10 carries for the Sooners. CeeDee Lamb totaled nine receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns, while Mark Andrews added six catches for 79 yards and a touchdown for Oklahoma, which amassed 617 yards of total offense. Oklahoma has now had at least 600 yards of total offense in five of eight games this year and at least 500 in seven of eight (other was 490 at Ohio State). OU has hit the 500-yard mark in 25 of 34 games since Lincoln Riley arrived prior to the 2015 season and the 600-yard mark 13 times. Mayfield has thrown a touchdown pass in a school-record 34 consecutive games (every contest of his OU career). That’s the second-longest streak in Big 12 history (Texas Tech’s Graham Harrell had a streak of 36 from 2006-08). He’s thrown at least two TD passes in a Big 12-record 21 straight contests (63 TDs to 11 interceptions during the stretch). Mayfield’s 301 yards of total offense (281 passing, 20 rushing) gave him 13,570 for his collegiate career, passing Missouri’s Chase Daniel (13,486) for fourth in Big 12 history. His 281 yards passing gave Mayfield 12,608 for his collegiate career, moving ahead of Texas Tech’s Kliff Kingsbury (12,429) and Daniel (12,515) and into fourth in Big 12 history. ESPN College GameDay will air from Stillwater on Saturday, marking the 32nd time the show will have been on hand for a game involving Oklahoma. Only Ohio State (41 times), Alabama (39), Florida (37) and Florida State (33) have been featured more often than OU. The Sooners are 22-9 in such games, including 11-2 in true road game matchups (last was a 31-16 win at Ohio State in September).Team Statistics

Why Bet On Oklahoma State’s College Football Lines?
OSU (7-1) won at a good West Virginia team last week, 50-39. Mason Rudolph threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score. A senior, Rudolph earned his 29th win as a starter, breaking the school record set by current coach Mike Gundy from 1986 to 1989. Freshman J.D. King ran for a season-high 142 yards and scored twice in place of Big 12 leading rusher Justice Hill, who left after fumbling the ball away in the game’s first series. King had 36 carries, more than doubling his previous high for the season. Rudolph set an OSU record for most career passing touchdowns at 77. The previous school record of 75 was held by Brandon Weeden. Rudolph moved his career TD total to 91 breaking the previous record of 88 held by Zac Robinson. James Washington has caught a pass in 40 straight games – the second longest active streak in the nation. Washington now has 1,005 receiving yards, breaking the 1,000-yard mark for the third straight season. He is the first OSU receiving since Rashaun Woods to record three straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons. OSU has the one of the nation’s best offenses at 569.3 yards and 44.5 points per game, but it is the Cowboy defense that has turned heads lately. Last week, the Cowboys held WVU to its lowest offensive output of the season (192 yards below its average) and became the only team to hold QB Will Grier to less than 300 passing yards all season. Before that, the OSU defense held Texas to its lowest output of the season. In the last two games, OSU’s opponents have been held to a combined 5-of-32 on third downs and 17 of their 30 possessions have ended with a three-and-out.Team Statistics
