Why Bet On Auburn?
The Tigers (5-2) come off a 27-23 loss at LSU and this week dismissed WR Kyle Davis from the team. Davis did not practice last week and did not travel for the game at LSU due to undisclosed reasons. The sophomore had seven catches for 210 yards in five games this season. He was also suspended for the season opener and missed all of spring practice, both due to undisclosed reasons. Davis is the third player to leave the program since the start of the season and second to be dismissed, joining Sean White (dismissed) and Byron Cowart (transfer). Against LSU, Johnson ran for 156 yards and scored his 13th touchdown of the season, but two late LSU field goals gave the Bengal Tigers the upset. DJ Chark’s 75-yard punt return for a touchdown cut Auburn’s lead to two points at 23-21 with 14:33 left in the game. Connor Culp’s 42-yard field goal gave LSU its only lead with 2:36 to play. The LSU kicker added a 36-yard kick with 38 seconds remaining. Auburn’s last drive ended at its 33-yard line when LSU sacked Jarrett Stidham on fourth down with two seconds left. With 1,763 career rushing yards, Johnson is 22nd on the Auburn career rushing list, passing Curtis Kuykendall (1,619 yards from 1944-45), Joe Childress (1,667 yards from 1953-55), Brad Lester (1,689 yards from 2004-08), Jimmy Sidle (1,703 yards from 1962-64) and Tommie Agee (1,735 yards from 1983-86). Daniel Carlson extended his SEC and Auburn career scoring record to 424 career points scored. Carlson has converted 169 consecutive PAT attempts, a school and SEC record. The challenge now for this Auburn team is to move past the LSU loss and not let it affect them down the stretch. The Tigers travel to Arkansas and then following an open week, they finish with games against Texas A&M, No. 3 Georgia and No. 1 Alabama. Offensively, Malzahn ruled out center Casey Dunn for the Arkansas game. However, there’s a chance that fellow offensive lineman Mike Horton, who missed the LSU game, will be able to return this Saturday.Team Statistics

Why Bet On Arkansas?
The Hogs (2-4) are last in the SEC at 0-3. They were dominated last week in a 41-9 loss at No. 1 Alabama to no surprise. Arkansas had just 227 yards. Cole Kelley went 23-of-42 for 200 yards and one touchdown in his first career start. Perhaps the Hogs should run more no-huddle. Arkansas netted 149 yards on 21 plays, an average of 7 yards per play, when it didn’t huddle vs. Alabama. The Hogs were equally effective with the run and pass in such situations, too. Kelley was 7 of 11 for 88 yards in the no huddle. That included a 46-yard connection with wide receiver Jordan Jones in the second quarter, Arkansas’ longest play of the game. The Razorbacks rushed for 45 yards on 6 carries in no huddle. That’s an average of 7.5 yards per carry on a night when the Hogs averaged 0.9 yards per carry for the game. Bielema said Monday that starting QB Austin Allen isn’t likely to play on Saturday against the Tigers despite continued improvement since injuring his throwing shoulder in the second half against South Carolina two weeks ago. Thus it will be Kelley again. Arkansas has now lost six of its last eight games dating to last season, six straight to teams from Power Five conferences. The Razorbacks are also 27-30 overall under Bielema in his fifth season, 10-25 in the SEC and in danger of ending a streak of three straight bowl game appearances with six games remaining.Team Statistics
