There are a lot of big games on the college football schedule this season, and that means that we have an awful lot of betting opportunities ahead of us. Picking and choosing your games is probably the best way to go when wagering, and finding value is where it’s at. It is often the big games that offer up that value, as you can generally get pretty good odds on both teams. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest upcoming games of the season, and let’s all take a look at where your NCAA football betting lines money might be best served.

Here’s a Closer Look At The Best CFB Games Of The Year Value Bets

Oklahoma Sooners at Houston Cougars Week 1

This is perhaps one of the best match-ups of the opening weekend, and most places have the Sooners favored by 10 to 10.5 points. I think this game is going to be a whole lot closer than that, which is why my money would be on the Houston Cougars to cover in Week 1. I also think we might see a defensive tussle here, so I’d also be looking at the UNDER.

Alabama Crimson Tide at Ole Miss Rebels Week 3

This is one of the games that is going to go a long way towards deciding who wins the SEC West. It is Ole Miss who have won the last two meetings, and with the home field advantage here, you have to like their chances to make it three in a row. This figures to be a close one, though, so keep an eye on the live odds to see where the spread is set at.

North Carolina Tar Heels at Florida State Seminoles Week 5

Florida State are looking for a big bounce back year in 2016, and in order to make that happen, they are going to have to take advantage of their home games. I think North Carolina are going to lose in Week 1 at Georgia, and they will be coming into this one a little bit desperate. That often means mistakes, and I like the Seminoles to jump all over them and win big here.

Clemson Tigers at Florida State Seminoles Week 9

The Clemson Tigers came oh so very close to a National Championship last year, and they will be looking to go one better this season. They have a number of big games to face in order to get there, and there may be none as big as this one. This is the chance for the Tigers to make a real statement, and I believe they will head into the great state of Florida and win big in Week 9.

Michigan Wolverines at Michigan State Spartans Week 9

This match-up delivered one of the biggest shock finishes to a game in college football history last season, and while we probably won’t see drama on that level again, we are likely to see another close game. It would not be a surprise to see this one come down to a field goal finish, so keep an eye on the point spread heading into this week.
