Expert Analysis & College Football Week 7 Parlay Picks

Written by on October 10, 2017

We have played 6 weeks of the 2017 college football season and what we have is the usual mix of shocks, surprises, and domination by a few schools. Teams that we thought would soar have had their wings clipped, while a couple of surprise teams have emerged with a shot at upsetting the apple cart. The main apples in the said cart are Alabama and Clemson, a pair of teams who look to be on a collision course for a 3rd straight meeting in the National Championship Game. There is a lot of football to be played before that comes to pass, though. The NCAAF betting odds for the weekend are now up, which means it time to put together a spectacular trio of College Football Week 7 Parlay tickets.

College Football Week 7 Parlay – Straight Up

Let’s get things started with a Friday night match-up that sees the Washington State Cougars, who are currently a perfect 6-0, go on the road to face the California Golden Bears. The Cougars have come off the worst in previous meetings, but this looks like a much better team in 2017 and I like them to get the big win on the road. The SEC East looks as though it is going to be a little one-sided this season, with Georgia being the heavy front-runners. Divisional match-ups are still huge, though, and we have a good one this weekend with the South Carolina Gamecocks heading to Tennessee to face a Volunteers team in turmoil. The Vols are rested after a bye week and I think they will come away with the win here. The TCU Horned Frogs are very much in the playoff discussion at the moment but have a potentially tricky one this weekend when they go on the road to face the Kansas State Wildcats. This one may stay close for a while, but I believe TCU will break it open and pull away in the second half.

College Football Week 7 Parlay – ATS

One of the teams who has been a pleasant surprise this season is the Georgia Bulldogs. They are off to a 6-0 start and have a defense that is one of the best in the country. They are a 30 ½ point favorite over Missouri this weekend and I think the Dawgs cover that big spread. The Florida Gators are coming off a tough loss to LSU that hurts their chances of repeating as the SEC East Champs, and now they have a game against a Texas A&M team that looked very competitive against Alabama last weekend. I am taking the Aggies +3. Be sure to include Texas A&M on your College Football Week 7 Parlay picks. Speaking of the Crimson Tide, they have a game against the Arkansas Razorbacks this weekend, who are a team that is a total mess right now. Alabama is a 30-point favorite for this one, which is a spread I am not so sure they will cover this weekend.

Latest NCAAF Week 7 Betting Trends

  • Missouri is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Georgia is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games
  • Texas A&M is 3-12 ATS in its last 15 games
  • Florida is 3-5 ATS in its last 8 games
  • Arkansas is 1-6 ATS in its last 7 games on the road
  • Alabama is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games when playing Arkansas

College Football Week 7 Parlay – Over/Under

Friday night sees the Clemson Tigers look to maintain their perfect start versus the Syracuse Orange. The quest here is whether QB Kelly Bryant will be able to go for Clemson, especially on a short week. The total for this one is 55 and I am going UNDER. The South Carolina Gamecocks and the Tennessee Volunteers have struggled to consistently put points on the board this season, which suggests that this week’s meeting may be on the low scoring side. Look for this one to fall UNDER the 49-point total. One of the more intriguing games on the calendar this weekend sees the TCU Horned Frogs and the Kansas State Wildcats go head to head. These are two teams that know how to run up the score, which is why I like this one to go OVER the 53 ½ point total.
