Expert Predictions For 2016 NCAAF Week 2

Written by on July 12, 2016

Week 1 of the NCAAF season is filled to brimming with spectacular match-ups, but Week 2 is a little more subdued. There are a lot of games on tap that see the big boys play some lesser opponents in an effort to score some style points with the playoff committee. What you as a bettor are going to most likely be looking at this week are the college football spreads, as that is where most of the value is going to lie. Let’s take a look at some of the national championship favorites to see what they will be facing in Week 2.

Analyzing The Expert Predictions for 2016 NCAAF Week 2

Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide have a tough trip to USC in Week 1, but things get a little more relaxed in the second week of the season, as they head home to face the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. This really is little more than an exhibition game for the defending champions, and one that will give them a chance to test out their offensive game.

Clemson Tigers

The Clemson Tigers are another team coming off a tough Week 1 match-up, and they will be hoping that a win against Auburn will be the result of that one. Their Week 2 game sees them at home to the Troy Trojans, with a lopsided win for the home team the only thing we can really expect here.

Oklahoma Sooners

The Oklahoma Sooners are becoming a trendy pick for those college football bettors looking for a potential championship winner at a good price. Their Week 2 match-up against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks will be an opportunity for them to put on a big offensive display in front of their own fans.

Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State Buckeyes appear to be better positioned to make a run at the title this season, as they finally have their QB position locked down for the coming season. Still, they generally have a pretty weak schedule, which makes it a little tougher for them to impress the committee than most of the other big name teams. They can lay down a marker by really running up the score against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in week 2.

Houston Cougars

The Houston Cougars were one of the pleasant surprises of last season, and they will be looking to impress in 2016, especially since they are sure to start the season with a high ranking. That ranking add a little bit of extra pressure, but some of that should be alleviated if they can come out and put a little bit of a beating at home against the Lamar Cardinals.

Michigan Wolverines

One of the biggest questions heading into the new college football season is whether or not the Michigan Wolverines can take another mighty leap forward under coach Jim Harbaugh. Week 2 should not be a major issue for this group, as they have what looks to be a pretty straightforward game against the UCF Knights. As always, be sure to check into MyBookie.ag closer to game time, as we will have all the updated college football betting lines up and ready to go.
