Georgia Bulldogs Tries for Consistent Success
I take a look at Georgia’s offense, defense, and its schedule.Georgia’s Offense
The Bulldogs’ offense could be just as explosive this season as it was last season. The key is Georgia’s offensive line. The line is more experienced and it’s bigger. That means, even though both Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are gone, Georgia will have no trouble rushing the football. In regards to Georgia’s passing attack, QB Jake Fromm must increase his completion percentage. From completed over 62% of his passes last season. That must get up to around 65% or higher if Georgia is going to outscore teams. Why does Georgia have to outscore teams?Georgia’s Defense
Georgia must outscore teams because the defense is a mess. Sure, there’s talent on ever level. But, Georgia lost 8 of 11 starters from their defense. They must replace Roquan Smith at linebacker. They must also replace some players along the defensive line. The secondary might also have some trouble. Neither the secondary nor the D-line are as deep this season as they were last season.Georgia’s Schedule
The schedule appears soft. Georgia battles Austin Peay, South Carolina, Middle Tennessee, and Missouri in their first 4 games. Easy, right? Ah, but then things get a bit more difficult. Tennessee on Sept. 29 is a key game. Georgia then must beat LSU in LSU on Oct. 13. A battle versus Florida looms a couple of weeks later. The other game that could bury Georgia’s season is Auburn on Nov. 10.2018 Schedule for Georgia Bulldogs
