Why bet on the Georgia Bulldogs?
The Bulldogs opened the season with a totally expected one-sided 45-0 win over the Austin Peay Governors. Coach Kirby Smart was not among the people praising the Bulldogs for the lopsided win, as he feels that his team will need to execute better this week versus a much tougher opponent. Georgia looks as though they have a pair of QB’s that can play at a high level, as both Jake Fromm and freshman Justin Fields put up some impressive numbers in the opening game. The running game also looks to be very healthy despite losing Chubb and Michel to the NFL, while the defense was about as solid as you would expect considering the opposition. Georgia fell 1 point short of covering in Week 1 and are now 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games. While 4 of the last 5 games between these two have gone OVER, 9 of 11 games played in Columbia have gone UNDER.Why bet on the South Carolina Gamecocks?
Last season was very much a step in the right direction for this program, but they still have a way to go to reach the level that Georgia is currently playing at. There does appear to be a shift in the way that Will Muschamp is choosing to do business, as the Gamecocks are now shifting to a more up-tempo style of offense, a move that they seem to be comfortable making with QB Jake Bentley under center. He did not see a lot of time in Week 1 in a game that South Carolina dominated with a 49-15 win over Coastal Carolina. The Gamecocks covered the 31-point spread in that one, taking them to 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games. The Gamecocks have covered in 6 of their last 9 meetings with Georgia but are just 1-4 SU in the last 5 against the Dawgs. How to Bet Arkansas State at Alabama NCAA Football Week 2 Odds
