Quarterback Matt Struck completed just 22 of 41 passes for 385 yards with four TD passes and one interception. Wide receiver Tanner Conner had nine catches for 164 yards and two scores while fellow wideout Michael Dean added eight catches for 155 yards and one score. Running back Ty Flanagan added 96 rushing yards on 22 carries in the win.

While I will admit that I definitely don’t like the high point spread in this contest, I am going to back Utah to cover the chalk, simply because they’re the far better and more talent-laden team in this contest.
With USC on the schedule next week, I suspect the Utes will want to get this one over with in a hurry while letting their backups get some playing time in the second half. Utah reaches the 40-point plateau while mostly shutting down Idaho State until they give up a few late points.
