Crimson Tide Looking to Keep Stacking Wins

Nick Saban and his Alabama Crimson Tide have just one loss on the season, and that was to the Texas Longhorns.

The Crimson Tide know this is a massive game for them, as a win here puts them one step closer to the SEC title game.

That would likely be against Georgia, and a win in that game should get them back in the College Football Playoff.

First things first, the Crimson Tide need to contain the LSU offense.

The Crimson Tide are allowing 331.6 yards per game, but just 16.5 points per game.

Alabama has been a bend but don’t break type defense this season.

On the offensive side, the Crimson Tide are scoring more than 30 points per game.

THe offense is anchored by Jalen Milroe at quarterback.

He has completed 99 of 153 passes this season for more than 1,600 yards, with 13 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.

His top target Jeremain Burton has five touchdowns on the season, while Isaiah Bond is next on the team with three.

Tigers Looking to Keep Scoreboard Moving

Brian Kelly and his LSU Tigers got off to the slow start with the loss in Orlando to Florida State, and then a shoot-out loss at Ole Miss.

A second SEC loss would put them out of reach in the SEC West.

Since the loss to Ole Miss, the Tigers have won their three games by more than 33 points per game.

THe offense has scored 48 points or more in four straight games. Quarterback Jayden Daniel has been absolutely outstanding.

In the win over Army, he was just 11 for 15 passing, but had 279 yards and three touchdowns.

On the season, Daniels has nearly 2,600 passing yards, to go along with his 25 touchdowns, and just three interceptions.

Malik Nabors and Brian Thomas are two of the top receivers in the nation.

They have a combined 1700+ receiving yards, and 20 touchdowns between the two.

LSU’s ground game has been strong as well, with Logan Diggs over 600 yards on the season, with six touchdowns.

Daniels even has five of his own rushing touchdowns.

LSU vs Alabama Final Betting Pick for the Game

A win for Coach Kelly and his Tigers would really put some chaos into the SEC and the SEC West.

The Tigers have the offense to take down the Crimson Tide. If they can play some defense and put Milroe in some uncomfortable situations, they will win this game.

That is what we are banking on.

The Crimson Tide already lost at home, and they are going to do it again, basically sending them out of the national title picture.

Take the LSU Tigers +3 on the road, and consider betting them via the money line to win straight up as well.

Enjoy the game and good luck!

LSU vs Alabama 2019 College Football Week 11 Odds, Game Info & Prediction

Previous Betting News

The college football playoff committee released their first rankings of the season on Friday night and there were a couple of surprises to be found. Perhaps the biggest shocker was seeing defending champions Clemson sitting outside the top 4 at the #5 spot, but given how the schedule looks in the final few weeks, you would bet your life on them getting into a playoff spot before the regular season is all said and done. The reason for that is because the top 4 teams are going to cannibalize themselves coming down the stretch.

Top-ranked Ohio State still needs to face #4 Penn State, while the #2 and #3 ranked teams in the country will go head to head this weekend when the LSU Tigers go on the road to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in a game that will likely decide who wins the SEC West. It may also prove to be a playoff elimination game, but that remains to be seen, as there is still a lot of football to be played. Alabama is a 6-point favorite at home, with the point total for this one set at 65.

LSU vs Alabama 2019 College Football Week 11 Odds, Game Info & Prediction

When: Saturday, November 9 at 3:30 PM EST
Where: Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa
TV: CBS
College Football Week 11 Odds: Alabama -6 (Total 65)

Why bet on the LSU Tigers?

LSU are probably a little disappointed not to be sitting in the #1 spot after the release of the rankings, but they might be able to rectify that with a win over Alabama on Saturday. They have been brilliant in getting to a perfect 8-0 record, but you could also argue that their last game, a 23-20 win over the Auburn Tigers, was their least convincing performance of the season. Still, a win over a very good Auburn side is not to be sneezed at, even if LSU did fall well below their 50 PPG season average.

The task here is monumental, as the Tigers have just 2 wins in their last 10 meetings with Alabama and have been outscored by an average of 22-10 in those meetings. They are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 versus the Crimson Tide.

Team Stats

Why bet on the Alabama Crimson Tide?

Ahead of the biggest college football game of the season, the question on everyone’s lips is about who will be under center for the Alabama Crimson Tide. With no disrespect intended to Mac Jones, most Alabama fans are going to be hoping that Tua Tagovailoa is healthy and ready to go, as he is a QB that seems to thrive in these types of big games.

Jones looked good in backup duty in his lone start against Arkansas, but the Razorbacks are simply nowhere near the level of the LSU Tigers. In their last 5 home games against LSU, Alabama has gone 4-1 SU. While both teams are offensively gifted, it is worth noting that the O/U in the last 10 games between these two is at 0-7-3.

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction for LSU vs Alabama

This is a game that is almost too tough to call, especially given the Tua situation. I actually believe that the LSU Tigers might just come out and spring the upset here, but I think the safer bet might be the UNDER.

Score: LSU Tigers 33 – Alabama Crimson Tide 30

Leonard Fournette and the fourth-ranked LSU Tigers will look to pull off the NCAA Football odds online betting ‘upset’ win over Reggie Ragland and the seventh-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide when the two SEC playoff hopefuls square off in the most anticipated game on the Week 10 docket on Saturday night. Now, let’s find out which championship hopeful will bring home the bacon.

How To Bet the Tigers @ Crimson Tide NCAA Football Odds & Game Info

Date/Time: Saturday, November 7, 8 p.m. ET
Venue: Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, Alabama
NCAAF Odds: Alabama -7
Over/Under: 45.5

Why Bet on the LSU Tigers (7-0)

The Tigers had a bye in Week 9 following their 48-20 Week 8 win over Western Kentucky as a 16-point home favorite. Quarterback Brandon Harris completed 11 of 20 passes foe 286 yards and three touchdowns while Fournette rushed for 150 yards and one touchdown on 26 carries. Now, all eyes are on beating the Crimson Tide and keeping their four-team playoff hopes intact.

For the season, Harris has completed 58.6 percent of his passes with nine touchdown passes and an unblemished zero interceptions while adding three more scores on the ground. Fournette is the leading Heisman Trophy candidate right now after rushing for 1,352 yards and 15 touchdowns. The Tigers are ranked an impressive 14th in scoring (38.9 ppg) and a solid 40th in points allowed (22.6 ppg).

Why Bet on the Alabama Crimson Tide (7-1)

The Tide had a bye in Week 9 one week after their hard-fought 19-14 win over Tennessee as a 14.5-point home favorite in Week 8. Now, Nick Saban’s squad wants to avoid their second loss and keep their four-team playoff hopes alive. Running back Derrick Henry led the way to victory by rushing for 143 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries while quarterback Jake Coker completed 21 of 27 passes for 247 yards with one interception and no touchdowns. Henry has rushed for 1,044 yards and 14 touchdowns while averaging a stellar 5.8 yards per carry. Alabama is ranked 43rd in scoring (33.5 ppg) and an impressive 11th in points allowed (16.4 ppg).

Reggie Ragland leads Alabama with 71 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles while junior defensive back Eddie Jackson leads the SEC with five interceptions. Junior defensive lineman Jonathan Allen is tied for sixth in the SEC with 6.0 sacks.

My Expert NCAA Football Odds Game Analysis & Pick:

I’ll get right to the point with my pick on this intriguing affair by saying that I fully expect both, Leonard Fournette and Derrick Henry will find rushing the ball tougher in this contest than they have all season. With that said, I believe this game will ultimately boil down to the quarterback play of LSU’s Brandon Harris and Alabama’s Jake Coker and for me, I’m going with Harris all the way.

LSU’s starting signal-caller has the edge in experience and mobility, making him more dangerous than Coker, not to mention the fact that he has yet to throw an interception while Coker has thrown seven. LSU not only covers the spread as a surprisingly large underdog, but the Tigers do so by getting the outright road win!

My Pick: LSU 27 Alabama 21
