Top NCAAF Betting Picks to Parlay in Week 5
No. 14 Miami Hurricanes (2-0) at Duke Blue Devils (4-0)
When: Friday, September 29, 2017, 7:00 PM ET Where: Wallace Wade Stadium NCAAF Odds: Duke +6.5 TV: ESPN Analysis: The Miami Hurricanes moved to 2-0 on the season by walloping Toledo 52-30 on Saturday, but I’m thinking the nationally-ranked Hurricanes are looking for some real trouble when they take on an unranked Duke Blue Devils team that moved to 4-0 on the season by beating North Carolina 27-17 on Saturday just as I predicted. Miami has put over 40 points on the board in each of their games this season but they also beat up on two clearly overmatched programs and gave up a whopping 30 points to Toledo this past weekend. Not only did Duke improved to 4-0 on the season by taking out the Tar Heels on Saturday, but their defense has been phenomenal in not allowing more than 20 points in any game this season while taking out NC Central, Northwestern, Baylor and North Carolina. I love the play of dual-threat Duke quarterback Daniel Jones and gifted running back Brittain Brown and I believe they’re offering a ton of value as a home underdog against a Miami squad that hasn’t been in a ‘real’ game yet this season. I’m going with the blossoming Daniel Jones to lead the Blue Devils to the outright home win and you should too! Pick: Miami +5Latest NCAAF Week 5 Betting Trends

No. 2 Clemson Tigers (4-0) at No. 12 Virginia Tech Hokies (4-0)
When: Saturday, September 30, 2017, 8:00 PM ET Where: Lane Stadium NCAAF Odds: Clemson -7.5 TV: ABC Analysis: Second-ranked Clemson Tigers spanked Boston College 34-7 on Saturday although quarterback Kelly Bryant was wildly inconsistent in completing just 17-of-46 passes for 140 yards with a pair of interceptions. Running back Travis Etienne led the way to victory with nine carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns. Virginia Tech improved to 4-0 on the season by pounding overmatched Old Dominion 40-0 to cash in as 28.5-point home faves just as I predicted. Blossoming quarterback Josh Jackson completed 20-of-30 passes for 298 yards with three touchdowns and one interception to lead the Hokies to victory. For their huge Week 5 ACC clash, I’m going to urge you to back the Hokies to narrowly cover the spread in a loss that is eerily identical to the 42-35 defeat that Clemson handed them late last season to win the ACC championship. While Tigers signal-caller Kelly Bryant has played well, this past weekend’s game showed that he still has a way to go as a passer. Just 34 percent of public bettors are backing them right now, but I like Virginia Tech to cover the spread at the very least! Pick: Virginia Tech +7.5NCAAF Week 5 Latest Betting Trends

Florida State Seminoles (0-2) at Wake Forest Demon Deacons (4-0)
When: Saturday, September 30, 2017, 3:30 PM ET Where: BB&T Field NCAAF Odds: Wake Forest +7.5 TV: ABC Analysis: The now, unranked Florida State Seminoles fell to 0-2 after losing to North Carolina State 27-21 this past weekend just as I expected and now things aren’t looking very good to me as they get set to take on a Wake Forest Demon Deacons team that has gone 4-0 on the season by limiting each of their opponents to 19 points or less. The Seminoles got a so-so performance out of freshman quarterback James Blackman in his first career start after star quarterback Deondre Francois was lost for the season in Week 1. Blackman completed 22 of 38 passes for 278 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions, but it wasn’t enough to get past NC State and I don;t think it will be enough to help Florida State cover the spread against a Wake Forest team that is giving up just 11.5 points per game (ninth) and putting up an impressive 37.8 points per game (34th). The Demon Deacons have their own dual-threat signal-caller in John Wolford as evidenced by his team-leading 269 rushing yards and three scores that go hand in hand with his 676 passing yards with eight touchdowns and no interceptions. Florida State has won five straight in this series, but they narrowly managed to get past Wake last season in their 11-6 home win and I think the chickens are coming home to roost for the Seminoles in this one. Pick: Wake Forest +75.NCAAF Week 5 Latest Betting Trends
