Missouri vs Georgia Odds | NCAAF Preview and Betting Analysis in Week 10

The 14th-ranked Missouri Tigers will head to Athens to take on the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. We expect this to be one of the best games of the week 10 slate in College Football.

The Missouri Tigers are 7-1 on the second, and second in the SEC West. The Tigers lone loss this season was to the LSU Tigers. Missouri did not play last weekend, but before that the Tigers smacked South Carolina at home 34-12.

For Georgia, they remain one of the five unbeaten teams at the top of the College Football rankings. The Bulldogs are 8-0 on the season, and coming off a 43-20 win on the road at Florida. Georgia is a big favorite in this game on Saturday. The Bulldogs come into the game -16.5 at home over Missouri. The total for this game is at 56.5.

Missouri Tigers Having a Great 2023

The Missouri Tigers are a possession or two away from being 8-0 on the season, and in the Top 10 of the country. But, despite that, they still have a shot at the SEC title game with a win here.

The Tigers are one of the top offenses in the nation with more than 450 yards per game. Most of the offense comes via the pass, with 294 yards per game, but the run can move the ball when needed as well.

Overall, Missouri is scoring just shy of 34 points per game.  Quarterback Brady Cook is improving game after game with nearly 2,300 passing yards and 15 touchdowns on the season. Cook has thrown just three interceptions all season.

His top two targets this season have been Luther Burden. Burden needs 95 yards to reach 1,000 on the season. He also has six touchdown receptions.

The other is Thoe Wease. Wease caught just two passes against South Carolina but has 36 on the season. The top running back for Missouri has been Cody Schrader. Schrader had a big game against South Carolina with 159 yards and two touchdowns.

No Bowers for Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs‘ top offensive threat this season has been Brock Bowers. The tight end hurt his ankle in the win over Vanderbilt and is likely out until the College Football playoff. He underwent ankle surgery and likely needs until mid-December. Bowers had caught 41 passes for 567 yards and four touchdowns.

What that means is more Dominic Lovett, who started his college career at Missouri. In the win at Florida, he caught four passes for 83 yards in the game. On the season, Lovett has 365 yards receiving. Carson Beck has taken over the role of starting quarterback and completed 73% of his throws this season. Beck has 14 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on the season.

The run game is anchored by Daijun Edwards. Edwards scored twice in the recent win over Florida and has 8 touchdowns on the season. He needs just four more carries to reach 100 on the season and has 555 yards on the ground.

Missouri vs Georgia Odds and Betting Prediction | Thriller in Athens

This should be such a fun game. The Missouri offense is no joke. They will give the Georgia defense all sorts of fits. They can pass the football, and run the football. Do not be surprised if the Missouri Tigers have the lead late in this game.

In the end though, championship teams find a way, and that is what the Bulldogs will do. They will win this game at home. But, they will not cover the spread. In fact, this game ends up a one-score game. The betting pick for this game is the Missouri Tigers +16.5 over the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.
