Early College Football Betting Predictions

Written by on May 31, 2016

Just because the start of the 2016 NCAA college football season doesn’t get underway for approximately four more months, that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start your new collegiate gridiron wagering campaign. As a mater of fact, thanks to the handful of never too early bets for the 2016 college football season, that you’re about to get, you’re going to have an excellent opportunity to cash in on a handful of ‘simply salivating’ 2016 college football predictions. Okay, since haste makes waste, let’s rock and roll people!

These College Football Predictions Are Simply Salivating!

Florida 8 (under -125)

Florida won 10 games in 2015, but I’m expecting the Gatos to take a slight step backwards as they look to find a new starting quarterback, running back and All-American cornerback Vernon Hargreaves. Difficult road dates against Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida State lead me to believe the Gators are an eight-win team just waiting to happen. The Pick: Push

TCU 8.5 (under -125)

The loss of super-gifted quarterback Trevone Boykin and wide receiver Josh Doctson will be a bit too much for the Horned Frogs to overcome in 2016. Still, playing in a mediocre Big 12 conference and not facing the most challenging non-conference schedule, means TCU should win nine games. The Pick: Over 8.5 Wins

Baylor 9 (under -125)

The Bears just fired head coach Art Briles and the school’s Athletic Directors amid an ugly sexual abuse scandal that could rock the program for years to come. No way do the Bears reach 10 wins in 2016…and remember, you heard it here first! The Pick: Under 9 Wins

Texas Tech 6

I know Texas Tech has an absolutely horrible defense, but the Red Raiders do have an explosive offense and a dual-threat quarterback that is extremely underrated in Pat Mahomes. If Texas Tech plays any kind of defense this coming season, I say they record at least seven wins just like they did a year ago, making the Red Raiders a virtual college football betting predictions lock! The Pick: Over 6 Wins

Tennessee 10

The Volunteers won nine games in 2015 and I believe they could make a slight improvement on that record this coming season after winning seven of their final eight games last season and returning a whooping 18 starters. The Vols have a pair of gifted skill position players in quarterback Joshua Dobbs and running back Jalen Hurd, but Dobbs will need to become more consistent if the Vols want to really challenge for a berth in the CFP. Right now, I think 11 wins is just a bit too much for Tennessee. The Pick: Under 10 Wins

Ole Miss 7

The Rebels have the best quarterback in the SEC in Chad Kelly and four receivers that all hauled in at least 30 balls last season. The Rebels will nee t overcome the losses of wideout Laquon Treadwell and tackle Laremy Tunsil, but there’s plenty of talent on the roster and Ole Miss has a really good head coach. I say reaching eight wins is a lock for Ole Miss in 2016! The Pick: Over 7 Wins

Auburn 7 (over -120)

The Tigers managed to win seven games in 2015 despite facing a ton of adversity and inconsistency, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. With tough matchups against Clemson, Alabama and LSU looming, my final college football prediction is that the Tigers are going to finish right around seven wins in 2016. The Pick: Push
